  9. something that I have always done even before going gluten-free is adding a box of instant pudding to cakes, cornbread, coffee cake etc. makes a HUDGE difference. I mix the (gluten-free brand of course) pudding with the dry ingrediants. Helps add flavor , and keeps things from crumbling =)

  13. I really liked the article and your post. Never hurts to try. I do know that they advise to slowly take a child off gluten (when its for autisim) so the child won't show signs of withdrawl.

don't know, you may have read but, I really liked shelly Case's book the gluten-free diet for outline of the diet. It's up to date and I carry it around with my to know whats safe and not. She explained Maltodextrin
  17. In the second week of my diet I went and cooked my DD kraft mac'n'cheese... yes I went and tasted it... I ALWAYS checked before out of habbit. Thats when I decided it was easier to cook gluten-free for everyone. Hope you feel better

  23. I have been thinking about this ... once we figure out who we need to contact... we should figure out what we would like for the law to included ... something that will suite celiacs not just the companies. If we are clear and concise and have a united requet, I believe we have a better chance at change!
  24. I hear ya! As soon as my kids are a sleep I am back on for a few...lol
