ARCHIVED Elimination Diet Gone Wrong?
misdiagnosed6yrs replied to misdiagnosed6yrs's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I made an appointment with my PCP tomorrow at 9. I just don't want it to be a waste of time, you know? Of course you all know. I also called the Gastro who diagnosed me. That appointment is on Jan 24th and the girl who made the appointment could tell that this is more urgent and suggested I talk to the Dr's nurse and get squeezed in somewhere. So I left... -
ARCHIVED Gas Pains? What Could It Be
misdiagnosed6yrs replied to misdiagnosed6yrs's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I have been keeping a food diary but I was just looking it over and it's missing things. I also havent been noting my symptoms on it. Should I? What is an internist? I am gluten-free. I don't take any OTC drugs. I'm on thyroid meds and sleep meds. All of which are gluten-free. -
ARCHIVED Gas Pains? What Could It Be
misdiagnosed6yrs posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
The pains in my stomach are getting so bad that I just don't want to eat any more. It's not gluten. It's not dairy, soy, casein, nuts, shellfish.. etc.. I have been doing an elimination diet since dec 26th. Everyday, I seem to be cutting out more and more food. I am getting worse with each day. I'm to the point where I eat and am instantly in pain. (its... -

Only water. I did have coffee on a few days. I have been through all these tests. over and over again for 7 years. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Thats not like me at all. It's 60* here in NH which is a record breaker, I don't have anything important to do today (no stress), I didn't want to get up to be sick. I don't know what... -
ARCHIVED Elimination Diet Gone Wrong?

It hurts so bad right now. Dinner was chicken cooked in the oven in water only. no oil. and brown rice. I put salt on the chciken. I am soooo sick. I can't do this anymore. Its so hard, its frustrating. I'm gonna give up chicken. and salt. This leaves me with sweet potatoes and brown rice. How is that healthy? -
ARCHIVED Elimination Diet Gone Wrong?
misdiagnosed6yrs replied to misdiagnosed6yrs's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I have been walking my dogs which I almost never do. I want to go to the gym but I feel like it wouldn't be a good idea cause of the lack of nutrition. I haven't gone without fruit. haha That would leave chicken, brown rice and sweet potatoes. Those havent given me any problems. Cept for the chicken I ate today but I was already feeling horrible. And... -

I don't mind making a doctors appointment if I have some solid info to present. With that said, should I go to be checked for low blood sugar? What other things should/can be checked so I can do them all at once? Thanks Bobbi -
ARCHIVED Elimination Diet Gone Wrong?
misdiagnosed6yrs replied to misdiagnosed6yrs's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I don't understand. How would I know if my blood sugar is fine. Boy do I feel dumb right now. Should I also say that I am so tired. I assumed its from the lack of work (I havent worked in a week. in between jobs) I also have been having a back ache and terrible headaches that I used to get when I smoked cigarettes. These may not be relevant but hey, its all... -

Good thing I'm not too bad cause I have been messing up. Example: I use garlic and safflower oil in my stir fry. No soy sauce. I have the wheat free but I cut it out for now. I used the last of my peppers, onions and mushrooms tonight. I feel ok. Then again, I'm so new at all of this, I am just waiting for more symptoms to come. (sorry, trying to stay positive... -
