  1. Can anyone recommend any good brands of Probiotics or Bioflavanoids?
  2. For Flax seed - I use Hodgson Mill, milled flax seed (It says gluten free on the box), I add to smoothies, bread mixes, even baked goods, u could even add it to cereal. For Aloe Juice- I buy Aloe Life, the orange papaya concentrate (I emailed the company and they assured me they are gluten free) , order it from Lame Advertisement it really is the best...
  3. Does anyone know if the starbucks bottled frappuccinos you buy at the grocery store are gluten free? And what flavors might be gluten free? Thanks.
  4. Thank you! On my next apt i will ask the doc to check for vitamin levels.
  5. Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone has problems with facial swelling, particularly swelling around the eyes and nose? I've had that problem for almost a year now. And I also have sensitivity to light and dark dark circles around my eyes. I've been to several ENTs (ear, nose, throat doctors) all of which ruled out sinus problems. I have environmental...
  6. Don't give up, although I can relate. I've been gluten-free and CF for about 5 months, I'm still having lots of problems. I never thought my irratability was ever gonna go away. It took about 4 months for my irratability to finally subside! So don't give up, and hope you feel better soon!
  7. I tried apple cider vinegar for a few months but only got temporary relief. Try using Honey (1-2 tsp) everytime you get that feeling (GERD sufferers know what i mean). Sliced Red dilicious apples also work. Those are the best natural ways to help with GERD. I'm currently taking aciphex for GERD which works great! The only problem is that my insurance only...
  8. Iam very allergic to eggs (both yolk and whites). For me, I get horrible stomach pain/cramping and then I seriously can't move for the rest of the day!
  9. I don't have my results with me, but I've had three seperate thyroid test, TSH, T4, and T3 and the results were all within normal limits! I'm pretty sure my B12 levels are within normal limits too! I threw out all my shampoo and makeup and bought all new gluten free stuff!
  10. Hey ya'll! Well I'm going to vent! I was diagnosed 2 months ago and have been gluten free ever since, but I'm not feeling any better! I also have allergies to milk, cheese, eggs (yolk and white), yeast, tomatoes, beans. Iam also allergic to dust mites. I have GERD. I take aciphex for that, and singulaur for my allergies! I am always severly deficient in...
  11. Have you had time to recover from your illness completely? Maybe the new job isn't the problem, could it be trying to deal with the celiac disease? I haven't worked since feb, I had to quit my new job as a nurse because that is when I started to get too sick. I was sick the whole time I was in school and the short amount of time I worked. I hated school and...
