She also mentions still working on the eye kabuki brush!! Can't wait!! Donna: i read somewhere that the ivory shade is also great for an eyeshadow primer. Give it a try that...

  6. This all sounds good!! I am about 1.5 months into this, and the bloated belly is my main problem still. Looking forward to getting that gone! How long did that take for most of you? I have been thinking perhaps I may be intolerant to more. I have gone wheat, dairy, corn, soy,& sugar free, and have recently gone 100% grain free this past week....
  7. Fatcat11188: IF you believe you can do it, you CAN do it!!! Support from friends and family is nice but not necessary. It is an adjustment, but YOU WILL feel better if you stick to it!! I have been wheat, corn, soy, sugar, dairy free for about a month or so, and it is a big adjustment but I feel soo much better, and that alone makes it so worth it! This...

  11. Hi. I apologize, I can't remember where I read this but was told that it never is cured!! You always have some of the bad bacteria, that is why it is know to come back, and that is why it is best to avoid most of those foods that can be a culprit. I also heard that it is best to be strict for at least a year with the diet, etc. Again, forgot where I...
  12. Hi I live in MA and use to go to the one in Franklin. I am happy to hear that they offer gluten-free, and perhaps I may venture back. Do they have a seperate menu that offers gluten-free?? thanks in advance. Amy
  13. Worriedtodeath: Email a picture to everyday minerals and ask them to suggest a couple colors. Order a couple sample packets first before you buy a set. I have used BE and Jane Iredale mineral makeup--and LOVE the everyday minerals soooo much more. It seems less powdery, and the prices can't be beat. Dlp: You are too funny. Your makeup is very organized...

  15. I maybe not the "right" place to be posting this, but I am considering the Enterolab testing. I have been gluten-free for about 6 weeks and I am starting to feel much better, but my family is a bit skeptical without diagnosis. Enterolab tests intolerances not celiacs correct? Do you recommend the complete panel---is the genetic test of importantance?...
  16. Superbeansprout: I went to rasoi last night: Thanks for the information. The food was great. I hope that they have a cooking class soon: I would love to go to learn! Maybe I will see you there too. It was nice not having a seperate menu, and I was so relaxed the whole time eating, not wondering if the meal was safe or not. Thanks again for the...
  17. Thanks to all. Very helpful information! I am not to aware of all the corn related stuff, and will definately have to read up on this (though all the info left here is a great start:thanks!) I will remove the rice from the diet starting today! Thanks again. AMY
  18. Thanks AliB:great info! I have been thinking on the same lines. Do you know of a good book/resource that may help? AnaClare: ALOT of celiacs also have trouble with corn (as well as other grains). Your husband may want to try eliminating a few more for a bit to see if it helps. For me, corn, sugar, and dairy made a bid difference. Good luck! A

  22. Girls. Regarding the flat top brush--apparently it is sold out and will be back in about a month. It has not been discontinued: YEAH!!! Just thought the cult would like to know, it will be back!!
  23. Thanks All. I am sugar free too (except a piece of fruit here and there). I am starting to think perhaps all grains may bother me. The big bloat is such a pain. I think I will start removing the grains to see what happens. Bully4You: Do you recall how long the bloating took to subside? A
  24. My husband is eating gluten food, and I DO eat the Diamond nut crackers.......Interesting. I am trying to be so good, but the cc is what I was wondering about, and perhaps the crackers will need to go to. I am trying to eat brown rice with either chicken or fish most night--hoping to settle things down (which it has). I do still have so much to learn though...
  25. Thanks HappyGirl. That was fast-- Thanks for the quick response. As always very helpful too!!! So, its seems best to stay with McCormicks. thanks. Amy
