sandy thank you so much for the support....I hope too my doctor is worth trusting him. He swears I am not going to feel pain at all, and I just called him about lymphoma and he said that ok there is a possibility but it is something we can deal with. I will let you know about the results... And guess what..... Yoy actually speak greek....endoscopy...

hi.. Well....you should keep eating gluten untill you have that test done. As far as the difference between gluten intolerance and celiac is concerned.....I thought it was the same thing....there is a topic here in this forum and you can read some really interesting opinions on that. try to find it I don't remember where it is..... ......guess you have a point....unfortunatelly doctors in greece are (sometimes) ignorant....i mean really ignorant....but it is a fact that greece has the lowest percentage of celiacs in europe. There is an article that gives a rate of 1 in 11.000 people...anyway.... you know what the problem is.....I just don't know who to trust.....My new doctor... -

......he wants to see damage because in greece celiac is a very unusual thing and he wants to be sure. I had a test for food intolerances and that made me exclude from my diet about 40 kinds of food. He said that these tests are not reliable and he needed to see my villy in order to have a scientific opinion about gluten, lactose and all the other intolerances... -
He said gastroscopy and colonoscopy....I am a little bit confused I do not know the difference with endoscopy....anyway....ok of course I'll check it since he said so...but I am a little bit terrified...

Hello everyone My new doctor said I must have a biopsy to exclude lemphoma....He did not want to say anything more untill we have the results of the biopsy. I can't understand...is it cancer? I am googling it but there is so much information I do not know which one is the right one..anyone with that problem?

thank you happy girl the article is confriming what you are saying....I 'll give it a try even wih just a week (It is impossible to eat gluten for more than a week...The immediate reaction is ekzema on my face...) Hello everyone... my new doctor said I need to have a biopsy. I told him I am gluten free for about 4 months and he said that even with 1 week of gluten we could see the damage and the biopsy would be positive. so he asked me to gluten my self until next friday. Hi there... I am sorry that you have all these symptoms. There is an idea why you keep having them....maybe you have some other intolerances...Most of us can't eat casein or lactose. Have you checked that? Or is there any chance that you gluten yourself by accident? To make you feel better, I have the same problem with you and I am going to have a colonoscopy...

I have the same problem with you...I eat A LOT. no....I eat REALLY A LOT. But I never feel satisfied.I am always hungry, and that started right after I excluded the food that was a no-no for me (lactose, gluten etc). I am not taking any kilos (on the contrary....I lost 3 kilos) and the only thing I can do to satisfy my hunger is to just keep eating proteins... -

same with me...I kept eating bread (i thought it was a gluten-free one) for 3 days and then on the 4 day i started feeling seek and headache and eczema and exhausted....but I know it doesn't matter if you have a reaction or not. the damage is done. pizza......? ΦΑΓΕ (fage)is ok at least for me....and me I am lactose intolerant but when I was eating it I never had a gluten or a lactose problem.....Fage has the BEST yoghurt...I used to eat it with melt chocolate (merenda or nutella is the thrademark here) or with huge spoons of sugar.....Do try that chocolate thing....You can also eat your rice with yog...
