  1. Hi. I just bought Maxicol psylium and I assumed it is gluten free since my nutritionist told me to get it, but then I read the label and it says wheat free. nothing about gluten. anybody knows? Thank you. Meline
  2. you will not understand anything. I slept and then I woke up. That was my colonoscopy/gastroscopy story. Try to follow the colon - cleansing instructions they will give you for the day before the endoscopy. If you dont., then your intestine will not be clear and they will not be able to take the test properly. Let us know how things went when you...
  3. Hello check candida... antibiotics trigger it, mold makes it worse, and fatigue is a main symptom...... Meline
  4. I totally agree.....welcome to the forum. PLEASE do ask many questions. It is the only way that you can learn and then be able to help others that will be newbies later..... Meline
  5. are you lactose intolerant??? cause fried potatos act like lactose. I don't know why, but I've read it and it happens. And bloating and gas are symptoms of lactose intolerance.
  6. Hello sorry to read that you have nausea / bloating problems.. 1)if you are completely gluten free I agree with the candida issue 2)if you are not, check your cosmetics and keep in mind that even the smallest trace of gluten can make you sick 3) my bloating was ALL because of lactose intolerance. 4) my nausea was ALL because of malabsorption. I...

  8. Hi When I posted (I think it was on march) I really had nausea all the time. Now, I don't have it any more!!!. My doctor said it was malabsorption (I also had bad body odour and I was losing weight despite my huge appetite and the huge amounts of food I was cosnuming). Now all these are gone, I've put on some weight, I eat like a human and not like...
  9. Hi there I am 30 years old, and for the last 16 years I had my period every 27 days exactly and I had never felt any pain. The first month of my gluten-free diet, this changed and till june I had my period every 15-20 days and I had to take pills for the pain. I asked my doctor and he said this would go away when my body would be healthy again - when...
  10. I guess that article may wanted to say that in some cases severe neurological problems may not be reversable. But I guess that is not your case......Just to let you know that my toes and my fingers used to have a very strange feeling like pinching, and now I only get that when glutened. Sometimes I did not feel my toes. That is also gone. Hope you feel better...
  11. what seems to work for me is to drink a lot of water and some instant non gluten cofee to get some energy. maybe it is a placebo, I don't know, but it is a little bit working.....and definately cancel all my plans for that day.
  12. .mftnchn....so they cannot tell you if you have celiac or not..? then I guess there is not actually a reason for me to have their tests..the gluten challeng is just imimpossible for me.... Nora I have no idea about the tests you are talking about. .....never heard of them, I'll ask my new doctor. Kim thank you for the support. As you know most...
  13. Hi everyone! After 1 year of gluten-free diet my new doc and my whole family want me to have an official diagnosis (I just had extreme response to the diet and on the other hand extreme eczema, abdominal pain, nausea, neuropathy and headache when glutened, and based on that my old doc said it was celiac) . I want that too, just for insurance reasons....
  14. Hello well greek yoghurt is creamy and I can tolerate it (and I am not a good example when it comes to intolerances..) Maybe you can just start with yoghurt and also get some milk that has less lactose. "TOTAL" greek yoghurt is great in taste. I guess you can find in your country milk with 70% less lactose (I do find it here from DELTA). Also you can...
  15. Hello well many celiacs cannot tolerate diary / casein until thier intestine is healed. this is normal. If you read my signature you will see that you are not the only one with many intolerances. When your intestine is healed, you will be able to re-introduce these ingredients . Me, after 1 year of gluten-free diet, I ate today chocolate and grapes....
  16. ......it is amazing......it is SO SO SO typical. Extremely hungry and losing weight (you will find many threads with that topic..) And then after almost 11 months...oops!!!! I said the magic words ..."No thanks. I am not hungry".And it was the time when my period came back normal, my hair stopped falling, my body and my stools stopped smelling awful and my...

  19. I hope you will recover soon....
  20. biopsy showed a healed villy....I guess I am lactose intolerant because I am lactose intolerant and not because of celiac. ...sorry for my previous post, I had to explain more.....here it is 3 after midnight and I am really tired.....
  21. After almost a year of gluten free diet I still can't tolerate lactose....
  22. Hello and welcome... I was asymptomatic for 11 years and just for the last year started feeling some of the symptoms. The only thing I had was fatigue, severe abdominal pain, hair loss, bad body odor (malabsorption) and acne because of lactose intolerance. Now if I have a tiny amount of gluten I have nausea, tingling in toes and fingers, eczema, brain...
  23. ok....thank you!!!! I didn't know that....
  24. Please forgive my ignorance...you mean that if someone who was eating bread / gluten JUST TOUCHED my cashews can CC them???? I would think that the only way that someone has CC my cashews is that this someone accidentaly has put some tiny pieces of bread in the jar with his hands and then I ate these pieces. Am I wrong??? is there a chance you can CC...
