  1. Nausea is a classic symptom of detoxing. I never had nausea in my life, and as soon as I went gluten free, actually 3 weeks later, terrible nausea started after almost every meal. But if you drink chamomile right when you start feeling nausea, it will go away. Now after 1 1/2 year of gluten free nausea is gone for good.

  4. Hello Helen. Welcome to the forum. I hope that going gluten free will improve your life in every aspect. so, you don't have to replace everything in your kitchen. The last thing you want is to become too obsessed with hidden gluten. You only have to replace wooden stuff, cause gluten is hidding in there and you can't get it out! so no ! you definately...
  5. I don't know how this will sound....Any way, I'll say it . I am not sad that I have celiac. I 've learned that I can have discipline and enjoy my food more and I am happy that it is not something serious / fatal. I really enjoy it when people tell me "If I had to follow that diet, I couldn't do it. " That makes me proud. "Healthy" people think their life...
  6. I understand you are feeling frustrated but when I make a mistake (in this year I 've had about 10) all the bad reaction go away in 1-2 days (with the help of sleep and water). Don't be so hard on your self! And this mistake definately didn't take you back to day 1. It is just a break and then you keep going. You are human...and yes you will have more gluten...

  10. I think you can find it in big health stores. I can't help you with that cause I live in another country. But it is safe for us, I am using it, it is also safe for diabetes and candida. It just has an unusual taste, but once you get used to it you will start liking it more. There are some sites on the net that claim that stevia is not approved in some...

  12. ....Of course I didn't believe it exists just because I've read it on the internet.....I am not that desperate!! If you don't want to name it candida then don't. I just know that something is inside of me making me ill whenever I get carbs and that from day 3 of my candida treatment my white tongue turned red again,and after a week most of my symptoms...

  14. almond butter. It saved me. It gave me some heathy pounds + tastes good. But if you want yeast free nut butter, don't eat peanut butter cause it promotes yeast.
  15. When you are treating candida new intolerances usually appear. Are you sure that your pain is from the antifungals and the probiotics? You have to keep a food diary and see what trigers your pain. Maybe you are eating something that doesn't agree with your body. Of course it could just be dying off...But first you have to make sure that food you are...

  17. I used to have wonderful curly hair and now they are thin not curly at all and they don't look good. they are extremely rough. It is not the gluten. It is the acidity in your body (I think...). For me it all started when I started folowing a sugar - only diet. I really don't know what I was thinking, but just before I got diagnosed for celiac I had this sugar...

  21. so I am on my second month of diet + supplements for candida. I had some rice cakes (4) yesterday and today I had some more (3). Things seemed to be ok. This was new to my diet, since for a month I have been eating nothing but protein and salads. Today, 1 hour after my 3 rice cakes I started having mild headache, pressure in the ears and terrible itching...
  22. That was a good article. Well I am taking my betaine hcl daily and it seems to be working. I hope I will fix it soon. Thank you for the post Alib. I didn't know it is SOOO important. I thought it was just another supplement-overload.
  23. I know this sounds stupid and really simple, but the thing that is working for me is lots of water. But I don't have D so I don't know if this would be any help for people with D. Seems like water and food are helping me cause they dicrease the percentage of gluten in my body. Or maybe it is a placebo I don't know. But it works for me. But I guess I am lucky...
