Gee Eff, you oughta have your mouth washed out with soap! Gorton's fish sticks, indeed What were you thinking? I think I'll pass on that diet idea. I prefer a less hairy look, myself. -
ARCHIVED Update...and Very Scared Now!
curlyfries replied to Pandoranitemare's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Lucky you on 2 counts! One....if the test was positive, you have you're answer. No doubts, no second guessing. You know what you need to do. Two....since she actually wants to talk to you,you may have a doctor who will be of some help, not one who gives a diagnosis and pushes you out the door. -

" My feet were numb, my hands were numb, my face was numb." "I'm so far into hypothermia that I just stare at him." "I'm now wearing... -

Funny, yes.....but terribly, terribly sad. I hope your friend set her straight...in front of the administrator. There is no excuse for a dietician to be so extremely misinformed. -

If you eat ANY gluten, you're health WILL continue to spiral. You need to be totally gluten free, 24/7. -

This is a hard one to answer. We are dealing with it now with my 2 year old grandbaby. I am self diagnosed celiac/gluten intolerant. My daughter has been tested, came out negative, but accepts that whether or not the test is accurate, she must be gluten free. She decided to start her baby out gluten free. When they are so little, they can't tell you why they...

ARCHIVED Starting A Gluten Free Diet
curlyfries replied to readergirl's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I know that you are wanting to try out the diet to see if it makes a difference. Just be aware that if you start feeling better and decide that you want to get tested, you will have to go back to eating gluten and feeling crappy before any tests can be run. -

Jess, check the (gluten-free)flour canister! I once found my missing keys there....glutenous at that time, though. (OK, it's complicated, but it was a result of lack of sleep, and perhaps a gluten-fogged brain) I had to go back and find what I was supposed to be offended by....by what I was supposed to be offended.....what should've made... -

Well if we're gonna go that far, might as well have a personal chef on board -
You get to see what other people find interesting on the world wide web. Things like recipes, fashion, qoutes, crafts, room designs, gardens.....it's unlimited. Then you can pin them and keep files of your own favorite things. Very addicting! Now I just need to get off the computer and actually DO some of the things I have pinned!
