  1. ------------------------------------------------------- Veggie: Non-intolerant gluten sensitivity involves no gluten-reactive tissue-destroying antibodies. There are three types of non-intolerant gluten sensitivity: 1. Gluten directly attacks tissue. (Likely what you have) 2. Another antigen which gluten and zonulin places in the bloodstream attacks...
  2. Okay it took a while for me to get back into gluten-sensitivity mode. You did not state whether you had been gluten-free prior to antibody blood-testing. IgA antibodies leave the body within a few days, so a gluten-free diet could easily produce a false-negative result for celiac disease. Baring that possibility....... Non-intolerant gluten sensitivity...
  3. That's up to you. I think the standard answer is, "no, not if there aren't any symptoms". But gluten intolerance has made me prejudiced. I think gluten is a pox on humanity. Looking around, I don't think anyone who eats gluten escapes suffering. If I were raising kids, I probably wouldn't have them tested....... ........but I wouldn't feed them gluten...
  4. Hi, Just think about what you said. You have pain and neuropathy, your anti-gliadin IgG antibodies are off the chart, and you've been eating gluten all your life. It seems to me that points at gluten sensitivity, not away from it. IgG antibodies mediate blood-born gluten diseases. IgG can take six months or longer to clear the body. Presumably your lack...
  5. Gluten disease classifications are nested, one inside the other. Gluten sensitivity: All diseases caused by ingesting gluten. Gluten intolerance: All autoimmune diseases caused by gluten. Celiac disease: The autoimmune disease where digestive gluten causes the digestive immune system to attack the lining of the small intestine. You appear to have...
  6. Sparkle, From my experience, from research, and from reading these pages, gluten intolerance and candidiasis often accompany each other. You said you are "intolerant to .....gluten". Does that mean a doctor tested your blood for gluten antibodies, and your blood tested positive? You mentioned "adrenal stress" and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. These diseases...
  7. You're probably taking ibuprofen or some other NSAID for the joint pain. Try stopping. It's a leap of faith, but I've seen it work. .....screwy, take a pain killer for the pain ........which causes more pain .......which causes you to take the pain killer ......which..... ..
  8. Just emphasizing that this is someone's opinion. Please avoid using the internet to diagnose yourself. ..
  9. Yes I think it's probably candidiasis. It's very common among celiacs. I think it's probably part of, or one of, the cause(s) of celiac disease. Open Original Shared Link Whether you have candidiasis or bacteria, the diet is the same. Stop consuming sweets and sugar. That includes fruit and the apple juice you're drinking. Drink de-chlorinated water...
  10. I think it could be celiac. Celiac takes many forms. Try your son on a gluten free diet for a few weeks and see. ..

  12. Do your gluten-free diet a favor. Closely read the active and non-active ingredients of your "supplements". Many contain gluten, sometimes disguised as something like "modified starch". The idea is to know all the ingredients, and know they don't contain gluten, before ingesting them. If you aren't sure, then don't take them. Because gluten intolerance...
  13. Your statement means hyperthyroidism DOES cause heart disease. And it does. It may not cause heart disease in any particular patient, but I did not say it did. And yes, thyroid disease symptoms "can" be placed into remission by a gluten-free diet ........obviously in cases where gluten ingestion caused the thyroid disease. Open Original Shared Link ...
  14. You are correct in deducing that your gluten intolerance is a bad thing. The specific results of gluten intolerance don't currently include celiac disease. Gluten intolerance autoimmune diseases include thyroid disease. So your thyroid disease is consistent with a gluten-intolerance cause. Thyroid destruction and thyroid malfunction cause other autoimmune...
  15. Follow your doctor's advice. Testing "negative" on a gene test is essentially meaningless. You were probably tested only for the more common genetic manifestations of DQ2 and DQ8. The more researchers look for gluten-sensitivity genes, the more they find. Low blood anti-tissue transglutaminase IgA means your bloodstream had very little stomach anti-gliadin...
  16. Incorrect. http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,...1662484,00.html From the article I linked: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ........In 1924, the German Nobel laureate Otto Warburg first published his observations of a common feature he saw in fast-growing tumors: unlike healthy cells, which...
  17. Do junkies choose life, or the next fix? As evidenced by the Wurzberg study, against all logic, sadly the answer is "no". A very large percentage of people, especially people who's bodies produce cancer, choose death over sugar abstinance. For the medical establishment, the motives are acceptibility and profit motive ......because, for onlookers the motive...
  18. Your website says the idea that sugar ingestion feeds cancer is just a baseless hoax, and offers as evidence an unrelated baseless hoax. This is not one of the other baseless hoaxes. Your website claims there is no scientific evidence supporting the claim that sugar causes cancer. Incorrect. It's known as the Warburg effect, named after a...
  19. Cancer can only survive on sugar. Humans can survive on other things. .......your choice. ..
  20. You might want to try eliminating nightshades from your diet. Nightshades include tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and eggplant. After a couple weeks, challenge yourself with each in turn. Some gluten sensitive people get nightshade-intolerant after some time on a gluten-free diet. The theory goes, we were always nightshade intolerant. But the gluten-induced...
  21. If you want to battle candida stop eating sweets. Fruits are sweets. They taste sweet because they contain fructose, the worst form of sweets, especially for someone with celiac and candidiasis. Most celiacs have dietary fructose malabsorption (DFM). Fructose is a complex sugar which must be broken into simple sugars. Undigested fructose stays in the...
  22. I agree that these excruciating life-threatening diseases are trivialized by the names celiac disease", "gluten intolerance" and "gluten sensitivity". Here's how I understand the names. Somebody eats gluten. If the digestive immune system attacks the small intestine lining, that's celiac disease. The digestive immune system releases zonulin, a cytokine...
  23. There's a slight sequence problem to your attempt to paint me as an anti-vegetarian bigot. I could not have known the original poster was a vegetarian before I used the term "people like you". So your contention is essentially BS. I will however point out that this sequence was apparent when you made up your own facts. So who's the bigot? A poster related...
  24. I'm not aware of any research on the phenomenon, but there's certainly a lot of testimony confirming it on these pages. There is a proven mechanism for celiac, and the mechanism makes a model for added food intolerance. Celiac disease is characterized by intestinal permeability in the presence of ingested gluten. Zonulin creates a sieve effect. The small...
