  1. I do and found your question while hunting to see if there is a connection to Celiac Disease.
  2. Short answers are:

How did I do it? I didn't give up.

Did it help a lot? Yes.

Perhaps you could tell me a bit more & ask focused questions...I have a lot of information.

  3. Hello, I am not sure which post, will you please copy it to me?

  4. Hello, I saw on your comment on Fructose malabsorbtion you were basically free of EVERYthing, how do you do it, and did it help alot?

  5. Yes.My understanding is they are one in the same. I found this explanation Open Original Shared Link
  6. Hello, There may be more going on than Celiac/gluten-free/no cross-contamination. Hard to digest Galactans are in beans and are a FODMAP. Look at Monash University (Australia) world center for research on this digestive study. ARCHIVED Costco

Soaps, Shampoos, Conditioners and Massage Oils all can contain "hydrolyzed wheat protein". It is true, gluten can not be absorbed through the skin. Therefore is TECHNICALLY not a probem for Celiacs. HOWEVER, if the gluten is on the skin/hair, it can get on the fingers, then, in the mouth, then in the gut. I have found products with wheat and regular...
  8. Hello, I just added this to my list of eliminated foods and am hunting for the best way to do a "clean" elimination diet process. (gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, corn, oats, nightshades, dietary yeast) Any information you can provide, ie the mayo article link, would be much appreciated! Sue
  9. Cooking Free is now on my list to investigate. The cookbook top on my list is Alissa Segersten & Tom Malterre's The Whole Life Nutrition Cookbook. www.wholelifenutrtion.net So far, it is the only cookbook I have found that has many recipes where I don't need to convert anything! Also packed with suggestions for how to organize and stock kitchen...
  10. Thank you! I recently made the mayo for artichokes and it was perfect. The cheese is next. I am constantly hunting for 'nothing in it' recipes. In the last two years we have discovered celiac and multiple food sensitivities, so I spend a lot of time hunting for ways to create new favorites. I am constantly on the look-out for a recipe site that has...
  11. I can certainly identify with your situation. One way I save time is with what I call "fast food". I cook a huge batch of a favorite dish, divide it into single, or family servings, as appropriate, and freeze. It gives me time off from cooking everything for every meal from scratch. There are times I dream of a big walk-in freezer... but then,...
  12. So great to hear from you! I love the internet...just a post away from finding a kindred soul. Yes, I cook simply too. Yesterday, I experimented with chicken tenders. I layered them in the crockpot, with seasonings between each layer, and set it on low...it took about 5 hours to cook. The most surprising thing is it turned into a "loaf"!...
  13. Hi all, In our family, when food is discussed, the first question is, "There is nothing in it (we cant eat) isn't there?" For us, gluten-free is just the beginning. We are celiac with multiple food sensitivities (leaky gut anyone?). We understand, once our guts heal more, some of the items on the list may be tolerable on an occassional basis. Even...
