  1. wow, thats a shocker!!! we've known since about 5 weeks and i'm just 14 today. we are happy and excited. of course we werent planning on any more, but every baby is a blessing.
  2. i totally agree with what everyone is telling you. definately stay gluten-free durning and after pregnancy. BUT, you do need to have the dairy so have you tried introducing just a little dairy without the gluten??? you might be able to tolerate just dairy. if not, then of course there are other ways to get those vits! stay away from gluten!!!!!
  3. hi all! well 5 years ago i had my tubes tied. and now am in my 2nd trimester!!!! i had my tubes cut, tied, then cauterized and yet i STILL got preggie!!! the dr. says that a microscopic hole must have formed?????? what the heck does that really mean? there is a little spot in my brain that is thinking hmmm, could celiac somehow MAYBE have caused this...

  6. i hear ya about being paranoid! i feel like a freak everytime i go ANYWHERE and start asking the standard questions. even to a family event!!! i've been very frustrated lately!!!!! when i think i'm accidentally glutened, a search far and wide for what could have gotten me, but i'm so careful. ugh............

Assuming I have a gluten-free dishwasher safe soap and I think I do, I've been wondering if washing the dishes in the dishwasher takes away all glutens from the dishes that my family may have had gluten on.   10. my mom swears by this stuff!!! i had the same problem last year and the sensodine worked. up until i had to get it pulled, but anyway. i called the manufacturer and there was one kind of sensodine that was gluten-free. not all of them are! but of course i don't remember which was the safe one! good luck!!!

  17. Hi, just found out I was pregnant. I know with my last pregnancy there was a certain antacid I could take safely. Of course, that isn't offered any more.   19. for things like shampoos etc. i to use garnier fructese, it smells GREAT! i also use suave from time to time. their deoderants, hand soaps, hand creams, they are made by unilever and they will disclose any glutens. dove is also a good product that will list glutens. i like nutregena for things like facial soaps and hand cream!!! dial is a good one...

  21. Hi all, I'm just pregnant and I need to take a prenatal vitamin and folic acid. I found this brand at the store called spring valley. Both bottles state that they are free of gluten. But on the prenatal ones, it lists maltodextrin, dextrin, and dextrose. These are a bit iffy for me. What do you all think? Has anyone heard of these? thanks!!!!
  22. how about trying something like almond milk. i just bought it to use in smoothies. it was DELISH!!!!! the vanilla is yummie and it's slightly sweet, not overly so. it's not reallly nutty tasting either, just a slight flavor. i bet it would be yummy yummy yummy!!!! dairy and casien and gluten free!!! good luck!!!!
  23. Hi guys. I've been hunting and I can't find any info on the drug amlodipine, substitution for norvasc. Made by zydus. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this or if there is a similar med I could take that is safe. I take it for high blood pressure. Thanks a bunch!
  24. maybe you could talk to a nutritionist or healthfoods personnel. i have heard that agave is realy good for you as well. some people use it like honey. good topic!
  25. actually, revlon is the only lipstick i use! i always read the ingredients and revlon will disclose anything unsafe for us! but definately call to be sure!
