    As of 6/10/2011, the Bumble Bee products are suspect until further notice. I just visited the company web site and on their FAQ page the question of gluten is addressed like this: "Most of our products are gluten free." But I can't find out which ones are safe to eat unless I write to them, because their contact info doesn't even include a phone number...

    McCormick spices/extracts company does NOT guarantee to identify gluten, as of January 18, 2011 per their web site. The first two sentences make no sense after you read the last two sentences.     I spoke with Safeway about their Safeway and Select brands today (which I find quite good), on 11/6/2009. The rep said gluten is one of the highest priority allergen labeling issues at Safeway.     I take melatonin nightly (less than 3 mg, however, or I get a headache) and have for over a year with no known problems. I have more than one autoimmune disorder, but it seems to be fine. I buy a brand without gluten in the coating, however!

    3.3.2009 Red Robin will now print out a list of all gluten free options (updated monthly) for gluten free patrons. Their salmon burger in lettuce instead of bun is great! Be sure they leave the seasoning off those yummy fries!

    Pacifica - on 2-26-09 - wrote me that all their products are gluten-free. Pacifica makes perfumes (solid and liquid), soaps, and candles - and they smell wonderful! I get them at Whole Foods, but Pacifica also has a web site. I did not ask whether they contain nuts.

    Open Original Shared Link This is a helpful list. I checked it on 2/25/2009 and it was updated in late 2008. It names companies that claim all their products are gluten-free, and it lists products that are gluten-free, and it lists products that are questionable because of their ingredients.

    Not all generic omeprazoles are guaranteed gluten-free. Walgreen's generic, for instance, is NOT on their list of gluten-free drugs, according to their pharmacists.

    Today, 2/25/2009, I asked the Walgreen's pharmacist to check their gluten-free products list (which only covers Walgreen brand products) about Walgreen's Omeprazole - it is NOT gluten-free, or at least not on their gluten-free list.     Best shampoo I have found: Desert Essence Organics. I like the red raspberry variety of the shampoo as it really does make my hair shine. Cleans well and smells good. I got it at Whole Foods. It says on the label it is 100% Vegan, gluten and wheat free, has no parabens, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates, no phthalates, artificial fragrances or colors...

    I read that many candy companies dust their conveyor belts with flour so the candy doesn't stick, and no, it isn't on the label. Type of flour unspecified.
