  1. I decided to go to the doctor and get tested, just to be safe. I was just wondering if the gluten, or possible anemia had something to do with it. It was weird
  2. Well, so far, no problem with soy. Thinking I may be anemic, going to get tested on Monday. I will see if I can find any of those brands anywhere. I have never heard of Wegmans, so I don't think we have one around. Thanks!
  3. Hey girls, I have a question. Last week, I got my period. I am normally regular with it, 30 days, lasts for 5. Last period, it was Two weeks early, and lasted for 9 days? Is this from Gluten? Or is it like my Grandmother says; she says I possibly have Anemia. Any ideas?

  7. Is there anything with calcium and iron in it, that someone with Celiac can actually absorb? I don't need more bone problems (have a messed up spine now), and to be anemic.
  8. I use Wet N' Wild eyeliner. Never had a problem with it. I have had it a while, so you need to email them or call to be sure it is still okay.
  9. I wonder why it only bothers some and not others?

    ARCHIVED Wendy's?

Wendy's is supposed to have some gluten-free stuff (the chili, french fries and the plain grilled chicken) But, I got the Wendy's French Fries and Chili one day (my husband picked it up for me on the way home), and I got a bad attack. I don't know which it was from, but it was the worst one I have had since going gluten-free. I have a feeling it was the...

  16. Hi Ruth, my husband was told to take a kind of Aloe Vera to help heal the intestines if I have celiac. It tastes like water. It is 100% pure aloe, but the unnecessary stuff has been taken out. You should try it. It is: George's "Always Active" Aloe 100% Aloe Vera Fractionally distilled liquid from aloe vera leaves Bitter free no unpleasant...

  18. Last night I ate some Vlasic pickles, thinking they were okay. I even googled to see if they were gluten-free, and I saw they were. But, I woke up this morning feeling like crapola! I did more googling and saw that they were processed on the same thing as wheat. Anyone else have this problem?

  21. Yes, natural and artificial flavors CAN contain gluten, but they could not as well. Your best bet, is if the product does not say Gluten-Free, to find a number and call. I will call there in the groocery store, just so I know if I can or cannot leave with the product. What RESO said was true as well, watch out for Modified Food Starch. It can or cannot...

  24. Great Umm, do you happen to know what yeast is okay to eat? I saw something about some kind of yeast having gluten. And can you get xanthan gum from a health food store?
