  3. I thought I remember reading this was on the safe list....I read the package and the only thing that seems suspect is carmel color. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!
  4. Publix is in orlando, you might want to use the store locater on their website and map it from your hotel. Publix is great, the have a small section where the organic stuff is and they have gluten free stuff there. They also carry Amy's in the freezer section. I know that there is a whole foods in winter park, but I don't know how far that is from Disney...
  5. I too enjoy the Sami's Bakery bread it really is good, someone just the other day has advised of the major cross contamination. I have personally stopped purchasing this to see if it makes a difference.
  6. I have a GP and GI Dr in Seminole....GP is Dr. Babu Paladugu- he was the one to diagnose me....The GI I go to is Dr. Badani. Good luck!
  7. We ate at the Hoopdy do review at Disney's Fort Wilderness. We had an amazing dinner! The show was great too! They even had gluten free rolls that were amazing. Best of luck!

  9. Hi all- I started a new job yesterday, it is a great thing....Everything is better except for the fact of my food restrictions. You forget how foriegn this all is to other people! I work in downtown, you walk everywhere especially for lunch! I am unfamiliar with every resturuant and my department wanted to take me out to lunch. I regretfully declined, but...

  11. I had an injection in my shoulder about 3 months ago. The injection itself didn't really hurt to bad, it was the pain right after that bothered me. I had great relief from the injection and I can tell that I am due for another!
  12. I threw a baby shower for my sister just a few months ago. We had a baked potato bar and salad, everyone was pleased even the non gluten-free people.... We had all of the toppings to choose from, cheese, sour cream, broccoli and cheese, chili, bacon bits and of course butter. It was a real hit and very easy to do! Good luck!

  14. When I first got really ill, I did file for short term disability. I did receive checks for about 6 months, however when I finally got a diagnosis they denied any further benifits (even though I was still not well). If you are unable to work you should file a claim. Good Luck!
  15. My son is in the 5th percentile for his weight as well......he is not a celiac! (we have had him tested sooooo many times) He is almost 8 and only weighs in about 42lbs. We do add "beefy milk" to his diet, this was recommended by his Dr. - since he has been drinking this (about 2 months) he has gained almost 4 pounds. Beefy Milk 6 oz Milk 1pkt of Carnation...

I stopped at Total Wines and More on Friday, had to wait for one of the employees to go into the back to get it.....they didn't even know they had it in until I told them that the distributer had delivered it that morning.   23. I love the hamburger buns, they are amazing! I think I love everything they make with the exception of their hot dog buns (they were awful)
  24. My favorite did is Cream Cheese Diced tomatos and green chilies- drained cooked sausage Cook sausage breaking up into small pieces- Drain In microwave bowl put your cream cheese, sausage and tomatos & Chilis heating through, mix well and serve hot with corn chips-YUM!!
