  1. Great replies to your questions! I just want to add that yoga is pretty amazing! Enjoy! Namaste
  2. I have a sleep study tomorrow night. Unsure as to what to expect. I have chronic and horrible insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, and my partner is pretty sure I have sleep apnea. Anyone have a sleep study before?
  3. Thank you everybody for your replies. SoLacey, I do watch my carbs for the diabetes. I have recently begun going to the gym during the months I have a break from chemo and am feeling well. It helps me to feel more empowered, but also yes - I want to lose the weight. It's hard because I have doctors pointing out that I've gained weight since the...
  4. Hello, thanks for the replies! I am hopeful for a gluten free lifestyle. I thought I'd be feeling angry, but actually I'm feeling relieved. Nice to 'meet' you both
  5. Hello Everyone, nice to meet you
  6. ADMIN got back to me and is going to change it for me on his end. Thanks!
  7. Thanks, I still had problems. I contacted admin
  8. I am a technically obese 34 y/o female who is also diabetic and on an insulin pump. I also have Hashimotos Thyroiditis. Needing to lose weight for my health. I was diagnosed gluten intolerent last week. It is very hard to lose weight, especially because I am on steroids for my chemotherapy treatment. I just feel like it all seems impossible. I am very overwhelmed...
  9. I am just wondering if anyone else is a Cancer warrior? I was diagnosed gluten intolerent 4 days ago. I was diagnosed as having Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma this past November. I am curently undergoing treatments. I'm 34 years old. Anyone else?
  10. I can't seem to change my 'about me' section. It keeps coming back with "ooops something went wrong" and something about a wrong URL. ???
  11. Hello Everyone. Wow, so apparently I am back. I've been on and off this forum for years. Unable to get a diagnosis for quite some time. A bit of a backstory: Diagnosed with, at the very least, gluten sensitivity via bloodwork. Told by my doctor that I could still eat gluten. Remained gluten free for a year, but then went back to eating gluten (and justified...
  12. Yes I have. I am DX with Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, and OCD.
  13. I was wondering if there was any type of link between Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, and Gluten Intolerance or Celiac?
  14. Thanks, Kassia. My new GP wanted me to see this new GI doc, although my new GP mentioned an endoscopy he didn't mention anything of celiac. When I see the new GI doctor on the 30th, I'm going to be thorough with my history in regards to Celiac testing, the colonoscopy, and my past and current symptoms. I'm glad to hear there is more awareness now, as compared...
  15. I developed pre-diabetes & fibromyalgia before hand, and Hashimotos after. Thanks for the information. My consult is on October 30th.
  16. Hello everyone. I thought I'd come here for support, as I'm very frustrated. I'm a 33 y/o female with Diabetes type 2, Hashimotos Thyroiditis, and Fibromyalgia. I am also a recovered Bulimic. I struggled with Bulimia for 12 years, and have been recovered for almost 8 years now. 5 ish years ago I was having horrible GI problems and my fibromyalgia...
  17. Wow, that's interesting. I am on Synthroid and have been for a while...
  18. lolo, I encourage you to give therapy another shot... I know it can be exhausting, but really, so is the eating disorder. If "rehashing" it in the therapist's office gets to you to a better place, versus "rehashing it" with food, than you owe it to yourself to try. Recovery IS well worth it, it may just take a few go-rounds until you find a treatment...
  19. After I initially went gluten-free I was always hungry, like Ravenous hungry That did go away, but it took a good two months or so for it to even out... My hunger/fullness cues went normal though Now I've been gluten free for the majority of the last year, but the times I have eaten gluten I get ravenous hungry within an hour of eating, aslmost...

  22. I get very sick with Cheeto's too Unfortunately because Cheeto's used to be my *favorite* I too do well with other chips of their's but for some reasno Cheeto's do not sit well with me, even if they are supposed to be gluten free, there is something about them....
  23. Hi Everyone! So as I understand it, many of these run in clusters, and apparently they have for me It's taken a toll on my body, and I can't seem to lose weight for the life of me. I admit, I am getting frustrated. The only thing that helps, I have found, is Weight Watchers. So, I have once again joined WW in an attempt to become healthy...
  24. Yes I did experience weight gain, my weight evened out but losing it has been nearly impossible
  25. Does anyone subscribe to Living Without Magazine? I do not, but I just went to their online site Open Original Shared Link and saw that Elisabeth Hasselbeck did an interview on there about her Celiac Diagnosis. She also has a book, which I see has already been posted about here. I did not know she was Celiac. I love her on "The View"
