  1. I've got a question. I went gluten free, felt 100% better. Yet understood to have the biopsy's you had to be consuming gluten. Now that I'm consuming it again for a week, I've had no major upsets. Does this mean I dont have celiac disease?
  2. Thanks for the input. Perhaps my physician mispoke that they would do a sigmoid? I quote her "They'll do a sigmoidoscopy where they go in from the bottom and on up" I just thought the Sigmoid was half of a colonoscopy. I understood an endoscopy was a flexible scope down the throat. Oh well, I have yet to see the GI doc, and they'll the ones who will...

I've noticed now being back...
  6. Richard, Thanks so much for the reply! I really hate to skew it if I can convince them to test me. Ahh, nice big wheat bagels, and a nap heading my way! Thanks, Dana
  7. I'm new here, and unsure of I have celiac disease, but the symptoms seem to be matching up. After 3 months of various digestive issues, and a handful of doctor appointments with no success. After a day of nothing but bagels (thinking plain mundane food) I've gone gluten free for roughly over a week. Although, not strictly as I have been learning after...
