  1. Just to clarify, in case it's not obvious: I only asked them about gluten (not about corn or soy), so presumably these products are indeed gluten free, with the classic caveat that they are not ever able to be 100% sure.

  24. One of the ingredients in Candex is "malt diastase"--is this safe for celiacs? (You probably wouldn't be taking it if it were unsafe, but it always seems smart to check.) Do you know if the enzyme is separated from the malt in a way that makes it safe? Your post is very interesting--thanks for sharing.

Isn't it also possible that the original poster is developing other intolerances in addition to gluten, and that perhaps there is something in the Peter Pan that is not 'glutening' him per se, but still giving him symptoms in its own right? I certainly have found that giving up gluten alone is not enough, at least during the healing process.... right now...
