  1. Probiotics saved my . . . life. I was having yeast infections for about the 6 months before my diagnosis, including thrush. They continued once a month even after gluten free in July until I got on some probiotics. Now I am back on regular life, and it feels amazing. I highly recommend bringing this up with your dr. so they can help. That's what they...
  2. I've heard from 2 nutritionists since diagnosis (July) that only 500mg of Calcium is absorbed at a time. So, unfortunatly, if you've had a recommendation for more than that daily, you will have to spread it out like tarnalberry recommended. Good luck! -Daisy
  3. I love how we know more than some of the employees at the store do. I went there Monday and asked if the caramel apple spice was gluten-free. Well, that didn't work so well, so I was up nearly the whole night. Slept through the whole procedure and woke up without a memory of what had happened. My sister just had her's, and she was put out. My...
  6. I'm so sorry, and I feel your pain and frustration. I'm on week 8 and I can really understand the feeling of seperation from everything else. My husband keeps reminding me that my body is healing, and that will take time. So hopefully, this difficult time for us will pass quickly, and we will end up feeling better afterwards! Right?!? Take care! -Daisy
  7. And here I was tonight browsing the forum, and I see this post. I was going to do my own post on what advice anyone could offer for a business lunch I have to go to in the next few weeks at our local Olive Garden. I'm guessing I'll go for the bring my own lara bar, or look put upon and drink a soda for two hours! Question asked and answered--thanks everyone...
