  3. Last night - cheese, crackers, fruit & wine. Tonight - grilled salmon with a grilled pineapple salsa, brocoli gratin, Lundberg rice mix, Talenti gelato - coffee with choc chips. Maybe some wine?
  4. - Hashi's is one of the diseases associated with Celiac. Even so, I would still want to know for sure. Going gluten free/lite might be OK for Hashi's but it isn't for Celiac disease. Now I know to look for these! edit- I don't see them listed on their website yet! Do you mind saying what part of the country you are in? Sometimes, new products do a test market or roll out in certain areas first.
  8. I am not really sure what you are trying to do, so I can't give you any advice on that. I wish you would have gotten your kids tested for Celiac before taking them off gluten. Then, if you are lucky, you will at least break even in a year Maybe look in your area for new business excellorators or entrepreneur/ business mentors? Maybe take some...

  11. Actually, that stuff about the USA dwarf wheat strain having more gluten isn't backed up by science. It still has the same amount. Some commercial baked goods will have extra gluten added.
  12. Not sure they have nuts.com in the UK? Usually, the best way to know about manufacturing procedures it to email or call the company. Maybe try that?
  13. If you get certified gluten-free ingredients, you shouldn't have to test every ingredient.
  14. At the grocery store. sometimes at Target. In the US, most or all pepperoni, salami, Ital sausage, are gluten-free.
  15. Just a note - these posts are all from 2005. Any product info on them is almost 10 years old - so whoever is reading should probably re-check for current info. edit: Doesn't look like there is any mention of products but the OP hasn't been around for a couple of years
  16. Jack "bumped" this back to the top and it was fun to look at this thread. I think I will add a recipe. These are sort of a chocolate meringue cookie. More cookie than meringue. You could add anything that wouldn't melt. Drizzle melted caramel or white chocolate or white chocolate with a little peppermint over the top. I use peanuts and one of my...
  17. No. I am not saying you don't have Celiac. I am saying you may have something else, too and the doctors should be looking for it.
  18. So.... just to clarify-- Your Celiac blood tests/antibodies are great? Your endoscopy shows that your stomach? or your small intestines? are worse? Because - if its your stomach - its not Celiac. And if its your small intestines - it might be something else. One of the links I gave you had a link to what other issues must be eliminated. ...
  19. i think the soy sauce would change the flavor, too? I looked on-line and didn't see these new ingredients listed.
