  1. Why does everyone say Chevy's has gluten free? I emailed them a couple of days ago & this is what I got: "Thank you for writing to us with your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a list of gluten free items for our menus at this time. Although, whenever visiting one of our restaurants, please feel free to request assistance from the restaurant...
  2. Did you see Godfathers? Not all have gluten free so check first. Also, where I live, we have some local restuarants that have 5 or 6 in the area. They have been very helpful when I emailed. One of them has fryers dedicated to only potatoes. Good luck.
  3. I have just gotten a positive blood test & will be having the biopsy soon. My GI is doing both an endoscopy (upper end) & a colonoscopy (far end). He is doing the colonoscopy to check for any other issues & to get to the far end of the small intestine. You can't get to the far end from the top. Sometimes I've found that being proactive or on the offense, as my teenage son says, is the best approach. ...
  5. Just received a reply from Godfathers. According to them: Pizzas are made in a safe place & wrapped & shipped to the shop. They bake them on fresh parchment paper on specified racks & cut with designated tools. They consulted with the Celiac Assoc. I'm excited.
  6. Just went to Godfathers website. It says the pizza is made & sealed at another location. It does not mention if it is cooked on a wire rack that other pizzas are cooked on or if they use the same cutter to cut it as they just used on a regular pizza. I sent them an email & will let you know if they respond.
  7. If you have a Chipolte near you, they seem good. On the website they will tell you that they only fry chips & taco shell in the oil. You can see them making your food & ask them to put on clean gloves as they may have been handling a flour tortilla.
