  1. Trying this. Me too. Thinking of the Grand Marnier.
  2. I don't know if there are HyVees outside the KC area, but they have a lot of gluten-free items.
  3. doin sumthin wrong. How do you get the nice quote boxes?
  4. Hub used to go out of town for work but doesn't anymore. Still camps out with Boy Scouts so gone occasionally. Love not having to push his extra pillows off my face so I can breathe.
  5. I've only been doing this for about a week. Had to wait until I finally got the biopsy before going gluten-free(gluten free). I've decided easier not to go out for a few weeks at least. I won't put myself into torture situations like watching people eat pizza. Regular pretzels have had to stay out of my house because I can't resist. I think that eventually...
  6. Love cooking with cereal! Corn flakes (gluten-free of course) are good as a coating on chicken & then bake.
  7. Trying to sum up all the ones I missed: AT&T, Cable/Sky TV, Dentist - evil & annoying Oven door - my microwave door just broke - is it catching? Lisa - annoyed me sis Lisa by calling her Lee-Lee Skating - wow! Dog nose - Ow! Strange post - possessed Anything I missed - sorry, nothin personal Almost forgot: I have healed me gut in record...
  8. Not to ignore the other comments but I'm gonna: Got this email today: Good afternoon, We can confirm that Grand Marnier Products are gluten free. 9. Email Victoria. She & I have exchanged emails & she really seems to want to make a good product & to know what we think.
  10. My 17 year old son still gives me trouble for when I was carrying him (about 18months old)& my heel broke & i fell down the stairs. Barely broke his little leg. Better without a cast in 2 weeks. MIL was probably just waiting for an excuse to tell you to go to Hell.
  11. I think you should wait to kiss until at least engaged if not married. (just kidding). I would think he might have crumbs, a good toothbrushing & rinse. Ahh! Minty fresh!
  12. Sounds yummy! NonGFs would like this. My printer printed the recipe & then sucked the paper back in some how. So computers like this too.

ARCHIVED Gi Heals In 7-10 Days?

Just diagnosed. Had endo last week. Yesterday GI doc said that your intestines completely grow all new lining cells in 7-10 days. Therefore, in less then 2 weeks of gluten-free, your intestines should be healed & taking nutrients correctly. Anyone hear that before? Mostly I've heard on this forum that it can take months to heal. I know that my malnourishment...
  14. Sorry- Yes I can see you & your posts. Dog- I'm speechless. Did that happen & he still speaks to you? According to my dog: Bark" Woof growl! GRRRRRRRRR! Roughly translates to all Vacs are evil & attacking a dog whilst enjoying his car ride proves it.
  15. I might take the stop lights. Its a chance to relax & listen to my music or quiet. Could, also: apply makeup, do hair or eat breakfast as you know every day that you will have the time. BUT... 3 days not seeing the worn out tshirts, too short pants, too baggy pants with underwear showing, ratty hair in the face that the teens wear might be relaxing...
  16. Who said the red lights would cease if your not driving but still in the car?
  17. If there are no scratches or little edges that can catch food, probably fine. I got all new pans because: 1. old but very good, pans were 20 years old 2. Getting new, very good (read expensive) pots & pans made me happy. Need to find happiness or humor in this when we can. Good luck!
  18. Glad they didn't find anything bad. Sometimes you just wish they could find something a little bad but treatable. Good luck with the parasites. I know you may feel bad from the treatment but stick it out & get those suckers out of there!
  19. Hub was home yesterday & had a big agenda. Got a new compooter that I havent managed to make work yet. You should be able to plug them in & go. Comments on yesterdays post (keeping it brief): Jokes: Funny Skeeter: Awful Houston weather: jealous Laundry: running Birthday $: Phun! Cat in chair: Sweet
  20. We really enjoy the "X" game type sports like snowboards & moguls. right now we are rooting for Apollo Ono.
  21. I don't mean this as a bad thing, many people (my family, too)have worked at fast food but: We need to consider who is working (kids, people who don't speak English, etc) & how busy they are. This really applies to all eating out. If we go at the busiest times, its hard for the workers to remember or want to do extra work for our food. It can be hard...
  22. Pancakes are relatively easy to make gluten-free, and it's not so easy to tell the difference. In fact, I saw a recent post about how a gluten-eater shoveled 8 pancakes down their throat, and had absolutely no idea they were gluten-free. I've never been a big pancake eater but my hub & kids are. Hub puts some cinnamon, ginger, cloves & a splash...
  23. Have a by marriage relative from Russia. Food seems to be from Olive Garden or some other take-out.
