  1. It took me 7 months to get pregnant, miscarried at 6 weeks, got pregnant the next month and had a chemical pregnancy. Been trying ever since. We originally started trying last february. I just found out I may have celiac disease, or a gluten intolerance. I am gluten free now so we will see if it takes much longer to get pregnant and if I get to keep the next...
  2. If you need something cheaper. Flinstones vitamins work well. My doctor told me they were fine to take. I had researched and found that many doctors actually recommend them when pregnant women get sick from the iron in regular prenatals. They have all the right vitamins in them. I take one daily along with extra folic acid(I think 400-600 mcg). Mine actually...
  3. I know it seems like you should get pregnant right away, especially after spending years trying NOT to get pregnant. And I know how frustrating it can be! We started trying in February of last year. I got pregnant after trying for 7 months, had a early miscarriage and got pregnant again immediately the next month(by total accident) and had another miscarriage...
  4. I agree with getting checked for thyroid disorders. It is not uncommon at all for them to suddenly appear after getting pregnant or after giving birth. Definitely something to get checked out, hyperthyroidism can cause you to lose a lot of weight with absolutely no explanation. I would also try seeing a different doctor to at least get a second opinion. I...
  5. Oh! Right after posting I found this: Open Original Shared Link I may go to the bakery in maple valley, not too long a drive
  6. Hello! I've lived in puyallup all my life though we are moving to alaska in a year. But I was surprised to find a post with specifically puyallup wa since I couldnt find one for just washington, or at least havent yet. I just figured out that I am gluten intolerant after 8 years of stomach issues. I went gluten free a week ago, so I havent found any good...
  7. Oh it sounds yummy! Thanks for posting the recipe, I bookmarked it
  8. Thank you all so much for all the awesome ideas! I now have some things to buy when I go food shopping tomorrow, and a lot more variety than before! Oh yes I know the tests will be worthless if Ive been off gluten for too long. The problem was I went on an elimination diet(because of 8 years of unexplained health problems), which included cutting milk...
  9. I've just recently figured out that I am gluten intolerant(I refuse to even touch wheat since my last attack), and currently getting tested for celiac disease. But I just started a new full time job(perfect timing right?). I need some quick and easy lunch ideas that don't take much time to prepare. I can't keep cooking with ALL of my free time, lol. So far...
  10. Thank you so much for the help! I had an appointment with a dr that I have been trying to switch to my primary for quite some time. She was finally taking new patients. I brought in my list of symptoms and printed out and highlighted the symptoms I had from those pages including highlighting some of the responses that went along with my symptoms. She listened...
  11. Alright, so got my call back, and they set an appointment for me with my dr tomorrow. Luckily I am getting to see the same doctor I was seeing during my miscarriages, and I actually liked her and felt that she listened to me better. Now I need help figuring out what I should bring with me to convince her that I do in fact need to be tested, because they want...
  12. Thank you so much for the information! I read it and called my doctors office immediately, I am now waiting for a call back from my doctor. I was lucky I didn't end up on hold for 20 minutes. Luckily the last time I was in I went in through the walk in clinic and went to a different doctor than my original primary and the respresentative on the phone sent...
  13. After a year of trying to get diagnosed with SOMETHING I've finally figured out that I actually do have some sort of intolerance to wheat. Other gluten foods, I'm not sure yet. Here's the story: starting in 8th grade I started having stomach issues, we(me and my parents) always thought it was dairy causing the problem, so I sort of avoided it in high school...
