  1. Well...the blooswork came back negative.... .1 they say Im seeing my gastro tomorrow to get his opinion
  2. No,they don't say..but reading the ingredients made me wonder.
  3. I have been seen by a neurologist due to migraines since I was 11..now 49,also seen a phsycologist foe depression, and had an MRI ...and was tested for RA...I have severe muscle and joint pain. I sometimes get the twitching at night while lying in bad,but its not constant.I don't know if its all related to gluten or not. I guess they just have to rule out...
  4. Are Fruity Pebbles gluten-free?
  5. Thankyou....I didn't think two days was correct.
  6. That's what I thought. My Family dr is doing a celiac panel...shes the one who said two days. I am seeing my gastro in May....Im hoping he will give me the correct information if he is doing any tests. I was doing so well for two months...and now I am eating gluten again and feeling horrible.
  7. I believe a gluten allergy is Celiac, where a gluten sensitivity is not. This is what I belive is wrong with me,and will be tested again next month.
  8. Hi......I am once again being tested through bloodwork and was told to eat gluten for 48 hours prior...is this correct?
  9. So you pretty much diagnosed yourself as far as a gluten sensitivity goes.I did the same...after seeing doctor after doctor, with no answers..I finally realized that when I cut back on gluten I felt so much better..no bloating, gas, fatigue, ect.I told my doctor this and he then tested me for Celiac..it came back negative. He also tested me for small intestinal...
  10. Thankyou...I will check it out!
  11. Well, then the rash that I was referring to probably wasnt DH because it didnt leave purple scars, just very itchy..but I do get what looks like a pimple here and there(usually my face and neck area)but it stays there a long time and does leave a purple scar that takes forever to fade.I never concidered it a rash because it looks more like a single pimple....
  12. So...can I have the biopsy done even when I dont have the rash??That would be good being that it can take forever to get an appiontment with the dermatologist and by that time it may be gone.
  13. Im wondering the same thing.I went gluten free in March(well...not 100 percent because I was just learning about all the hidden glutens in things).Anyway,in April I broke out with this horrible red itchy rash all around my mouth and chin..it was soooooo itchy and ugly..had very tiny blisters that would secrete a yellow crust when it dried.I went to the doctors...
  14. Oh how I wish that I had a Wegmans store near me... We have a warehouse 5 minutes away..but no store.Shopping for gluten-free items can be so frustrating and it would be wonderful to shop in a store that stickers gluten-free foods.
  15. I can't say that mine are ever itchy...they just hurt and leave a purple scar...that takes forever to go away.
  16. From what I am reading here (I am a newbie, too)everyone reacts differently. Some have an almost immediate reaction to gluten, while others can have symptoms a day or two later. My experience with gluten is almost immediately..If I were to eat what you did,I would be in misery right away..I would have the extreme bloating, constant gas,and a feeling of fullness...
  17. So,then you cant have DH with gluten intolerance...only celiac disease?Hhhhmm..makes me wonder just how much these doctors really know about celiac disease.Thankyou for your quick reply.
  18. About 5 years ago when I started having stomach issues(going through a divorce)I also started getting these little red bumps here and there, usually around my hairline and neck, shoulders and a few on my face. They sort of resembled an acne pimple, but when I tried to squeeze it(sorry..thats gross,I know)it wouldnt burst, but it would eventually open and sting...
  19. This has been an ongoing problem for me the past 5 years..and never knew that it was being caused by gluten until I went gluten free in March.I felt so much better almost immediately.I've been doing well until about a week ago...I started to cheat here and there, and now Im paying for it..Im bloated and gassy and feel like crap!Tommorow is a new day..and...
  20. Oh yes...this was one of the biggest emmbarrasments about the whole stomach issue.I could never sit in a quiet room with others because it was so loud..they would think I was passing gas!It was horrible!!!I went gluten free and things are much much better..but now Im on antibiotics and I think thats stirring things up again.I also use to shake my car keys...
  21. Oh my goodness...yes!I have the same problem, and before I diagnosed myself as gluten intolerant I never knew why my stomach was so bloated.Nobody would believe me when I said I looked pregnant at times...until they witnessed it.Its so uncomfortable!
  22. Wow!I never associated that with celiac.I sometimes get that same feeling but its on my scalp. It feels like thiers a bunch of bugs crawling around and when I scratch..nothing happens..it just keeps feeling that way.I had a negative blood test for celiac..but I know Im atleast gluten intolerant..will this kind of thing happen to people with only a gluten intolerance...
  23. I went gluten free last month and noticed a huge difference almost immediately.Im not sure if your symptoms can be from the gluten-free diet, but Im guessing that they arent.Could it be something else, and not a gluten sensitivity?
