  1. No dairy, and mostly whole foods. The endo and colonoscopy are not looking for Celiac, I'm due the colon, and the endo to look for reasons for gas. But I though of asking him to take the required samples.
  2. Is there a good way? I understand 5-6 months before complete healing can happen. How to deal in the mean time.

  6. I was for a period of time, and then try this and try that. I still don't eat bread, but that's just a start. I will be getting a colonoscopy and upper endoscope exams next month, and I'm going to ask for biopsies to be taken at both ends of my small intestines. I am positive for the genitic test. but no other test.

  12. There is a neat application for Android phones, called find me gluten free. There is an Outback Steak House, with a gluten free menu. Carrabba's but I haave never been to one.

  16. Ran a fresh loaf through our meat slicer. Worked just fine! Bread held togeather with no tearing!
  17. I like to make a meat ball appetizer called MOINK balls. These are made from frozen meat balls, treated with a BBQ rub, wrapped in 1/2 slice bacon. They are cooked until bacon is done, then glazed with a BBQ sauce. Problem is no frozen meat balls that are gluten free. So I am looking for a recipe for gluten free meat balls that I can use...

  19. We made our first bread yesterday! Mixed this in a stand mixer, and baked in the oven. Very pleased. Does not taste like regular wheat bread, but we all liked the taste! Tomorrow we will try slicing on a meat slicer.

  21. Sylvia, After reading this several times, I have purchased a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. All I know for sure is that it's red, and 325 watts, and runs good. (used on craigslist). Now, I need to find a good bread pan! metal or glass? Best size?
