  1. *raising hand* This is me!!!...... (I don't have celiac disease) I constantly struggle with it. Like you I can motivate myself in other areas (fitness training, reading, cooking) but hate sorting 'stuff' With 3 kids, there's alot of 'stuff'! I don't actually have any advice - but it heartens me to know there are 'others'

  3. Plain and simple..... I wouldn't cook it for my guys That is only my opinion though. I do use stuff that doesn't specifically say 'gluten free' but has nothing dodgy in the ingredients. I see it as damage limitation

  7. Hi Steven! - glad you found us, you're in the right place I'm in the UK and both my husband and son have coeliac disease. Getting used to the diet does seem tricky at first - but I can assure you it does get easier in time. I distinctly remember the first food shopping adventure after my hubby's dx - it took HOURS!! .... but take heart...

  9. Hi there, I'm in the UK and my husband and son have coeliac disease. Like you my husband also has arthritis (he has Psoriatic arthritis...very similar to RA) and has been gluten-free for 6 years now ( is it that long!) There's loads of useful info to be found on this board - and they're a friendly bunch Glad you've found us!

  11. ..in fact Genius is now available in all the major supermarkets.. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda's and now Morrison's. Another one to look out for is Marks & Spencers new gluten-free range including their own bread. Thumbs up in our house!
  12. My husbands diagnosis of ITP came several years after the celiac disease and psoriatic arthritis was diagnosed. Luckily the ITP has not yet required treatment - it's just closely monitored. He's always been an 'easy bleeder'....I think he's had low platelets for alot longer than he's been aware
