    Walkers plain are ok - but I'm not so confident on other flavours (they may say 'suitable for coeliacs' but they often contain flavourings derived from Wheat - -codex levels ) Steve, mak07 is probably young and familiar with using 'text' speak

    My husband (a coeliac) has had problems with easy bleeding and low platelets. At the moment his haemotolgist is happy with his levels (although not as good as the average person, they are not dangerous) - he's not been dx with ITP though. I'm not sure any of the docs know exactly why this has been occuring for my hubby

    Skin biopsy??? (as opposed to small bowel biopsy) Plus (I'm sure you know) but if you've been gluten-free for any length of time it will skew any bloods testing for celiac disease

    Yes, although I should add most GP's will only do prescriptions if you are a biopsy proven coeliac. Open Original Shared Link have some more info re: prescription food

    I was really suprised at how nice this turned out!! I did mine in a slow cooker/crockpot but I think it could be done just as easy in the oven - probably around 180 centigrade until the top browns.     One possibility is that your daughter has IgA deficiency (more common in coeliacs) If she has this it means she wouldn't produce enough antibodies to produce a 'positive' blood test (even if she is a coeliac) Having said that - lots of people on this board have had negative bloods but have seen fantastic results going gluten-free.     My parents have the opposite obsession - keeping their fuel bills down ...dear god! you need your thermals on round there....you can scrape the ice off the inside of the windows in the depth of winter.
