  1. Wow, I just found out I might be Celiac too. Funny thing is my doctor figured it out. I have been complaining of stomach and intestinal problems for years. My doctor asked me questions that I didn't put together now as Celiac dianosis questions. He gave me the Celiac panel blood tests. One came back positive. So I am so glad he took the time on me....
  2. I am new to this board but I am not new to Thyroid problems. Hypo for many years. There is a great site on (about) web site that is run by Mary Shomon she handles both hypo and Graves. Great Endo is the key to Thyroid desease. It is worth looking around.

    Hate to put a damper on GB surgery. Sometimes one still has Indigestion and other GB type symptoms after surgery. I read up to 40% do. That is why I am looking into my Endo is looking into Celiac for my situation. Does anyone have info on Celiac and GB problems?
  5. Mushroom,- Thanks for the clarification. I go to the GI doctors soon. I was hoping to get around the biospy. I am sort of the indepentent type and hate asking for someone to take me for the biopsy. Has there been any advancement in using the pill cam for diagnosis?
  6. Thanks for the reply (not the c@#$, LOL) So since my other IGA (deamidated gliadin was 4 and my t-Transglutaminase IGA was <1) is higher it does not indicate a IGA deficiency? Could I have a tendency or degree of IGA deficiency? I look up some of the symptoms for children. Being sick as a child with infections was my lot. Can one grow out of deficiency...
