  1. Justa heads up! Just got off the phone with Kroger, they are changing the formula on thier Golden Corn Nuggets cereal, and it is no longer gluten free. They said theres stilll some of the gluten-free version out there, but it in the proccess of being replaced. This realy stinks becauyse we count on the cheaper Kroger products in our food bills...
  2. Booca, I have the April Delphi list if thats what your refering to. Some one posted it here (forget who) but its realy to huge to work with I am trying to figure out what our main foods are that we consume and just work on gluten-free versions of them.
  3. Bah. Well my plan stays then, I mm gonna go gluten-free for 6 months and then get retested for Anemia, if that shows a big improvement, then I am gonna call it postive for celiac disease no matter what the docs say.
  4. We used Bobs Mills (I think thats what its called) gluten-free Pancake last week and it was good (well I cheated and added brown sugar....), got a dif brand this week, I think its arrowmills or somthing like that. It was cheaper , so have to try it, Anna not sold in my part of the world, so can not try all her products that ppl seem to speak so highly...
  5. Okay I just had my Doc fax me my blood test scores back, and they only did ONE test not the full panel. They did "IgA" only. So many of you ahve been postive on only 1 or 2 of teh full panel tests, that makes me think that only getting one test would miss it right???

  9. 850? Hmmm We pay around 700-750 a month now, and growing! Thats with just 2 adults, 1 toddler, a dog and 2 birds. Of course the almost 10% sales tax here does not help I love cooking from stratch as it gives me much more room to play, but till this celiac disease stuff his it was only occasionaly that I did that so never gaveit much thoguht cost wise...

  14. What about MSG? Friend of mine thought he was Celiac, but eventually detrmined it was MSG that he was reacting to, and MSG is in most of the same products that Gluten is in. I have my notes on what he siad about it back at my office, and I could tell you more tommmorow if you like.
  15. Found the Centrum info... Open Original Shared Link The first list is for diabetics, the second is for gluten.

  18. Good to know! If he likes it might try ti with ground beef since he does not seem to be to enthralled any other "real" meats right now.
  19. I called our local Baskin Robins about thier ice cream cakes, and they have a cake base BUT they wold gladly make me a gluten-free one as long as I gave them at least 24 hours notice. Apreantly it has to "freeze over night". Since we do not have carvel down here, this is next best thing.
  20. Well we made them, took about 20 mins too cook not 10, but that might because my wife ahd made them in advance and left them in the fridge till my lunch break. I liked them, and she did... but the jury is still out with my son. He ate some, not much. Takes him a few exsposures to decide sometimes.
  21. We have them too, but my toddler not real happy with them.
  22. Yay, yay, yay bash away at the poor husbands that are not here to defend themselves! FYW, I do all the baking, dishes, and some of the cooking for my stay at home wife.
  23. Physical Activity that causes the release of Adrenline (spelling???) is overall very good for your various mental conditions (Depresion, ADD, etc). I do not know much about Yoga, but I thought that was meditation and not realy exercise? If so, I would highly recomend you add some kind of phyiscal exercise 3 times a week, maybe a nice vigours 20-30 min walk...
  24. I think I will adviod thier products for now too, but because of.. While its great they are trying to learn... I would rather wait till they know what they are dealing with better. If they do not understand it, then mayhap they do not understand the concept of cross contimation or the many sorces of gluten that are out there. Just my feelings on...
