  4. Got my ice cream chilling.... as usall I made to much LOL have 3 or so quarts of "mix" and only 1.5 quart maker! Ingreditents... Half -n- half and frozen strawberries . Why cant the stores make it that simple??

See by adding milk your basicly "watering" down the whipping cream and half/half falls between milk and whipping cream for fat content, and as we stated fat is the magic key to ice cream! Try it, personal tastes always vary so you may even like it better or not. I will be making strawberry tonight and only plan to use 1/2 n 1/2 cause we needed...
  8. RACH! I forgot to mention, if you looking to cut costs on the homande icecream, uses all half-half, its pretty close to the whipping cream/milk combo, but at $1.19 per quart (can you guess what I was buying today and making tonight LOL) its alot cheaper then whipping cream.

  13. I would say try gluten-free first for a while, as someppl do get skin reactions to gluten. Once your sure he has been gluten-free for say a month or 2 with NO CHEATING, then what ever symptons that are not improveing are likly caused by something else.   15. What ever they could have taught you in teh school you can learn from books, and networking with any chef's/cooks you can find. Its more leg work to do it this way, but can be much cheaper.

  20. When I was little my Mom actually got 3 oponions, and then later as an adult I got 2 more. When I was little ADHD was not yet realy regonized so instead of a neat lable I got a big list of lables. As an adult both opinions called me ADHD. But I think AS is a better fit... esply since the ADHD drugs did not help me.

  22. IMO, any food sytem with grains as its base (like the ones mentioned above) is flawed at its root. We have way to much epmashis on grains, and not enough on protiens, good fats, and etc.
