  1. Hi, I do not have eczema, and yes I am referring to hair conditioners.
  2. Is Cetyl Alcohol gluten-free? I have been searching the web and have gotten conflicting information. -Miriam
  3. Snickerdoodles yummy, and I love their Cinnamon Raisin Crunch Cereal!
  4. Hi I have been using CVS brand Dentral Flossers, with no problems. They come in a little plastic resealable bag, 90 count, but they are unflavored, also a lot cheaper then Gum eez.
  5. That is good to know, thank you. I think I am going to wait a while, and then try your suggestion, I really miss having Oats.
  6. Yes they are delicious, I was so excited to find a cookie that tasted soo good! I did not have the Oatmeal Raisin, only the Almond Horns however. I have never been able to re-introduce Oats back in to my diet since they came out with the gluten-free Oats, my first try..... had a full Gluten attack, not fun, and that was with GlutenFreeda Oatmeal. I was diagnosed...
  7. Hello, I picked up a package of the Almond Horns, after reading the ingredients, which are almond paste, organic cane sugar, almonds and egg white. And after seeing the Celeic Spruce Association symbol, I was sure they were safe. Well, had one, and the acid indegestion, and bloatedness started, also the muscle soreness, and the pain on my right side...
  8. Thanks, I will try Suave. I have been using Dessert Essence, and it's not cheap, and their conditioner is really not very good. -Miriam
  9. Are all Suave and Dove products gluten-free, including their conditioners? I have been spending way too much on hairproducts, and could use a hint on cheaper brands. Thanks, -Miriam
  10. Right there with Silvia stay on the Gluten, until you get your "golden seal" aka endoscopy. I am sensitive not only to gluten, but soy, dairy, eggs (but can tolerate egg white a bit, weird I know), xanthan gum also gives me the same reaction as gluten. It was kind of trial and error for me. Teach yourself how to read labels, and even though it says gluten...
  11. Hello, when first diagnosed I also had the bread "trial and error" experience. Ener-G was only tried once, did not like it, then I tried Dr. Schar, but they use whole egg in it and it upsets my tummy, however eggs white I can tolerate, so when Udi's came in the market I was delighted, been using it since with no problems. Hope this helps, -Miriam
  12. Thanks FernW, for your reply. Will check on the Latex also, but as far as I know, I've never been sensitive to it.
  13. Ouch, sorry to hear that. I am allergic to Chocolate so I do not do M&M's but in this forum there was an entry where someone mentions M&M's and possible CC with their Pretzel M&M's, you might want to look that up and see if you can get an answer there. Hope you feel better. -Miriam
  14. In my area, it depends where I go, at Ralphs, it is the freezer. At Wholefoods, it on the shelf. Either way when I bring it home, it goes straight to the freezer, till it is time to use and then i thaw it overnight in the refrigerator. When I am ready to eat it, it is always toasted, or zapped in the Micro for 10 sec. which makes it soft like freshly...
  15. I like Perky's Crunchy Flax,(it is right there in the ingredients Whole Sorghum Flour)when I eat it, I have a reaction. I feel tired, and achy and very gassy. Not quite as bad as gluten, but I feel it. I am so glad I read your post; I have been crazy trying to figure it out, now it makes sense. Thank God for this Forum, and you for posting this topic...
  16. Thanks Raven, I will check on the Gums also.
  17. Thanks everyone, your replies have been quite helpful. I will call my Dentist, and verify with her if she uses powdered gloves or not. The doubght over the Powder started with being told that they sometimes can add flour to make Powder. So my only concern will be if I have to have a crown, because they will have to take an impression of my...
  18. Hi everyone, I just cracked a tooth and have to go in to have it fixed, what should I watch out for at the Dentist, and are there any recommendations that I can make to her so that I do not get glutened? Last time I went in for my cleaning, I got glutened and I think it might have been from the hygenist's gloves, that is the only thing that I was...
  19. I stay away from processed foods. I cook everything fresh, meat, brown rice and white rice mixed together (just cuz I do not really like brown rice) with a little olive oil, and pinch of salt, cooked in my rice cooker is very yummy, fresh veggies. No cows milk for me, almond is the way I go, it has made a big difference. The bloat is gone . Watch...
  20. I have had terrible experiences with products from Trader Joes. When I called them to let them know about my experience with the item that was listed as gluten-free, they said that they do not guarantee CC, needless to say I do not shop there. I know a lot of people with Celiac do however, and are fine. Maybe is just good old hyper sensitive me.
  21. I take Pioneer's Digestive Enzymes & Herbs, and they work!
  22. "smile at life and life smiles back at you"

  23. Thanks for replying! I went ahead and took my ususal dosage one last night, and one this morning and so far no side effects. I was really stressed over this; for someone who suffers from Anxiety, the added stress over the meds. does not help at all. I wish they would stop adding gluten to medicines, is it not bad enough that we have to worry about...
  24. I was taken Clonazepam by Accord, with no problem. Today my Pharmacist informed me that they are not able to get that Mfg. any longer and they only have the one by Actavis I called Purepac who makes Actavis and was told that it is gluten-free, but they can not certify it because they do not test for Gluten. I am just wondering if any one has takeng...
  25. Thank you all for the info. It has been very helpful, and I really appreciate it. This pain started for me 4 years ago, when I had late onset of Gluten sensitivity, after eliminating all the Gluten from my life, those issues went away, but this pain remained. I have Orthopedic issues to begin with; Scoliosis and was born with a dislocated left hip...
