  1. I won't be trying it. I'll be sticking to dedicated gluten-free brewing companies. I had a reaction to Redbridge and looking back it makes perfect sense. How can a major brewing company like Michelob and Budweiser not have cross contamination issues?
  2. I eat only cage free eggs. After 6 months gluten free I've finally figured out that these particular eggs need to be washed off. After a couple of times of unexplained gluten symptoms after eating only eggs I realized they had washable "stuff" on the shell of the eggs. Oh well. Once again with this disease. Live and learn. The hard way.
  3. I eat those things too! And your can still make her those things! Buy gluten free bread, brown rice tortillas, and gluten free mac and cheese and you're all set!
  4. I'm usually a pretty positive person but honestly can say I hate them. Can't cook them on the grill. They fall apart. Can't eat them on a bun. They fall apart. The texture is creepy. I miss Publix brand organic veggie burgers soooooo much. I have 3 more brands in the freezer. Here's hoping... I don't eat red meat and won't do turkey so...
  5. Thank God I'm not alone. I have been asking about feeding my animals for 2 months and no one has replied. I thought maybe it was all in my head. I feed 4 horses, 2 dogs, 3 inside birds, a ferret, a cat, and 2 ducks everyday. Some I feed twice a day. I am now feeding with a mask for horses and hold my breath while feeding all the others. Yes I have gotten...
  6. Yes. Since August I've lost 40 lbs. Needed to but now I'm concerned because a set back happens often and I'm steadily loosing weight. Very thin runs in my family and I don't want to be very thin. Sorry if my news is discouraging but it is the truth.
  7. I think I have finally found where to post! Thank goodness! I have posted before but I didn't get a response so I'm desperatey trying again. I am self diagnosed and VERY sensitive to gluten. I have many gluten eating animals that I feed everyday. Sometimes more. My 4 horses get bran mashed twice a week. My DH does this for me now but as I walk into the garage...
  8. Anything fried in a shared fryer would not be gluten free.
  9. Self diagnosed. And very proud of it!
  10. My dad offered me a beer...
  11. Be careful with Amy's! They claim to be gluten free but I haven't seen one product that doesn't say their food is processed in a plant where wheat is used! Glad you found a good pizza! Yay!
  12. I have noticed that on every single Amy's item. How can a company state clearly on a package that it is a gluten free product when in small print it says it's made in a place where wheat is handled? Isn't this false advertising? And the health food store where I shop sells Amy's line in their gluten free area! Really?! I have so wanted to post something about...
  13. This is the first time I've posted anything. Read everything though and am so thankful for everyone's posting. I have not run across this topic of discussion and would like to ask questions of others who have horses and Celiac. Thanks!
