As you noted, our chips contain oat fiber; however oats are current not considered to contain gluten. The 3 primary sources of gluten are wheat, barley, and rye. Our supplier of oat fiber has tested their product and found it to contain...

  3. my son had pretty much all the same symptoms the biggest one was weighing less at 1 yr than 6 months and crying constantly. He was "diagnosed" with celiac from a family doc from a blood test and diet response-we didnt do the scope. We saw a big change, but not everything went away. We found that he also couldnt have eggs, red dye, processed meat, corn and...
  4. Since she is under 5 and you are on some food stamps you should qualify for wic and you can get some free food that way. My husband is allergic to wheat, corn, soy, shrimp, shellfish and couple others that we dont eat ever so I cant remember what they are. My son has celiacs. We eat alot of ground meat or whole chickens or chicken breast with the bone...

  11. when my first son went gluten-free we had to avoid everything that didn't specifically say gluten free. After he has healed we have found many things to add-even some with a manufactured in a facility with wheat labels. I would avoid for awhile and let yourself heal and then do some trail and error from there.
  12. so far so good for my son, but with these reviews I may quit buying them for awhile-I hope they get a gluten-free label soon.

  14. I use Suave Kids dye free. I am not sure if it suits your allergy-I just looked at the label and it appears to. It is gluten free though-I mainly just stay away from "natural" stuff like burts bees or stuff with oats-like aveeno.
  15. When my kid goes on little trips with other kids, I always assign him to an older kid that will watch over him and make sure an adult gets asked before he eats or plays any activities. I ask in advance what they will be do so I can send my own ice cream and cake. Send my own activities if necessary. Another thing I do is as them not to make a big...
  16. I cant remember the brand name off hand. But if you are in the US, they sell it at walmart in the chip aisle with all the other jerky. Its Turkey sausage and it says gluten free right on it. I have bought many different types of beef and turkey sausage many times at different stores and brands and as long as it says gluten free on it I have never had a...
  17. my 3.5 yr old has awful pain when he gets glutened. I havent found anything that seems to help. Pretty much I just let him lay on the couch and relax, watch tv, etc... In the beginning we had terrible issues with cross contamination but as he becomes more aware and cautious it happens less and less. For meals on the go, I like to do jerky and cheese...

I am not sure if the ingredients would be ok, but Walmart sells a vegan mac n cheese (I think its call mac and chreese if I remember right) Whats the problem with canola oil? Isnt that a seed-not a nut? I...
