  1. Disneyland is a GREAT place to go for gluten-free stuff. My favorite restaurant to go to is The Storyteller's Cafe which is in the California Hotel. They have gluten-free pizza, pasta, and more! Definitely get the list of gluten-free foods from city hall inside Disneyland. I went to the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante once and had amazing Mexican food without...
  2. Haha I know. I will probably try it... when I do I'll post and tell how it is. Thanks!
  3. I was wondering if anyone has bought anything from Open Original Shared Link?? They sell gluten-free meals that you can order and get delivered right to your door! I thought it would be fun to try.. but I wouldn't really want to waste money on meals that don't taste very good.
  4. In todays newspaper, there was an article about a lady in Minnesota who started a gluten-free store after she was diagnosed with Celiac. It has a good story to it. Here's the article: Open Original Shared Link There was also an article about how eating gluten-free can help people with autism. Lisa
  5. I am pretty sure PA has a few restaurants called Bonefish that have a gluten-free menu. Their food and service is really good. Lisa
  6. I have been craving corn dogs lately too.. and I rarely ate them before going gluten-free! Also Chinese spring rolls.. although I did eat those a lot. Lisa

  8. Anyone know of Bath and Body Works lotion being gluten-free?
  9. Wow! A lot of good information. Okay, so from what I understand, you could have both MS and Celiac Disease and being gluten-free may/may not help symptoms. Am I right? I know this is a weird question, but does auto-immune diseases run in family genes? I know that I got Celiac Disease from my mom's side of the family, because my cousin on her side has...
  10. Hmm. I agree with what you both are saying. But, my mom found out that being gluten-free can help the symptoms of MS die down. Is this possible? That is why I was asking about Celiac causing MS. Thanks, Lisa
  11. If there are any nightsweaters that have it every night, no matter what, have you been tested for HIV/AIDS? I know it sounds weird, but it is a symptom. Can't hurt to check. Lisa
  12. Thank you so much for all of your help, everyone!! Lets see. I have gone to a neurologist- she was the one who prescribed the EEG. I have an appointment this Thursday with her, so we will see what happens. I will check all the labels on everything again, just to be sure. Plus, it is hard (as it is for most of you) to be gluten-free in a gluten household...
  13. Storytellers Cafe (located in the California Adventure Hotel) is extremely gluten-free friendly. They serve hamburgers with buns, pizza, and spaghetti for us. Also, they have gluten-free fries and cornbread. Also, they have a flourless strawberry ice cream cake that is extremely good. I have also heard, but not tried, Goofy's Kitchen or something like that...
  14. That is exactly how it is for me. I recently had an EEG done, but that turned out negative. My mom was diagnosed with MS just a few days ago because of dizziness. She says that I would be too young to have it though, so I don't know what to think is causing it. Lisa
  15. So can MS be caused by Celiac?
  16. In the delphi list it says that all MinuteMaid juices are gluten-free. The company could have changed the factory or something, but I doubt it. Hope I could help, Lisa
  17. Thanks for all of your help!!!
  18. Oh! I forgot to tell you on the other topic.. if you want to get food, there is a Whole Foods close by... Open Original Shared Link Again, have fun at the happiest place on earth!!!(Make SURE to go on Soaring Over California in California Adventure) Lisa
  19. Just so you know.. pretty much all of the restaurants in both Disneyland and California Adventure have something they can do for gluten-free. Have fun!!!!
  20. Could MS symptoms be caused by Celiac Disease?
  21. Lately, I have been bloating a lot. I have no idea what is causing it. The only time that I could have been glutened is what I have right before the bloating starts. But, food can't digest that quickly, can it? Lisa
  22. I use them for quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. A very good (but very fattening- all the yummy foods are) idea for tacos, are to fry the tortillas in vegetable oil. Then add ground turkey and chorizo, and you have a delicious taco!!! I don't know of any other ways to use them- curious to find out!!! Lisa
  23. Has anyone noticed having more energy after being a couple months gluten-free?? I am asking because I just finished a basketball game, where I was in the whole game without any breaks. I am not tired!! I mean, a little bit, but its like I only played half of the game instead of the whole thing!!! Plus, we were playing a hard team (all-net). Anyone notice...
  24. My feet are flat (wow, try saying that 5 times fast ). They have a tiny arch, though. Also, my hips turn in, so when I walk my feet go inward- causes a lot of pain . The only way to get rid of it is to have surgery, but I am just going to stick with othotics for now.
  25. It's a big thing- going gluten-free. I would consult her pediatrician first, before telling her. Also let it sink in a few days. It took me about a week to realize that I was going to have to eat like this in order for me to feel better. I am 13, 8th grade, and I agree Jackie (fisharefriendsnotfood) and tell her about this site. It helped me to learn a...
