  2. I have found that if I wait to add the Xanthan gum until the everything else is combined and then mix for about 1 minute the climbing problem is eliminated. Once the Xanthan gets "activated" for lack of a better term it makes the whole mess really sticky and that is (IMO) when the climbing gets out of control.

  9. Yeah, they hang out on the underside of leaves, grass blades, etc and wait to hitch a ride when a warm blooded animal passess through and brushes against whatever they're hiding on.
  10. You really have to look closely at areas covered by hair. They like to get to somewhere where they are protected. I've had them in my armpits, behind my ears, all over my legs (they especially like the backs of knees for some reason), not to mention unmentionable places . They wiggle in under waist bands and socks and latch on. I've never used tweezers...
