About Me

Thank you for the choice to "Ignore" people who are being nasty!

  1. Thank you for saying this! I have been eating Gluten Free Chex for a few months. Yesterday that was almost all I had due to a busy day at work. I was sick as a dog! Had some again this morning and have been in the bathroom all day. I'll look into the sufites.
  2. No, this is the one, but mine said "New" on the label. Open Original Shared Link
  3. I am Gluten Intollerant, and I have been able to drink Chocolate Ovaltine until recently. The canister now says "New" Ovaltine, but it doesn't have Malt listed as an ingredient. I'm sure there's already a topic on this, but the new look of the forum is hard to navigate through quickly. I can't find anything on the internet about the "New" Chocolate Ovaltine...
  4. I'm sorry. My point was, that I felt like the enzyme had extended my reaction time. Not that it had caused the reaction.
  5. I recently realized I was consuming gluten while on vacation. I had purchased some of this enzyme for "just in case". I don't believe I will take anymore of it, because I think I felt worse having slowed down the process. Instead of the D 20 minutes later, I had horrible muscle and joint pain that lasted a few days. This was one of the worst reactions...
  6. I'm so sorry to read that all of you are having the same problems with doctors, symptoms, diet, etc...as I am, but I am so glad to have found this forum so I know I'm not the only one going through this!
  7. My daughter is allergic to soy, ginger, sesame, and garlic. Those 4 ingredients seem to be in everything! Now I'm watching for those 4 for her, plus gluten for me. It's crazy what's mixed in with your foods!
  8. I had a migraine & sinus infection for 2 years. I had 2 root canals, and it was suggested I have a 3rd root canal. I was waiting for the new year insurance to roll around for the 3rd, and went gluten free. The migraine & sinus infection were almost completely gone by the end of the first week! About 3 months into being gluten free, I realized...
  9. I've found that a heating pad works really well. Sometimes I have all over body ache, and use my electric blanket as a whole body heating pad - laying on top of it.
  10. On vacation in Myrtle Beach with the extended family this week. Waiter : So what happens when you eat gluten? Me : Well, sometimes I get a migraine, or all over body ache, or you might never get me out of your restroom! Guessing the waiter won't ask anyone else that question!
  11. Being gluten intolerant, and become sick in several different ways when glutened, I'm not willing to chance a rash, joint pain, headache from lotions/shampoo, or absorption via tp.
  12. I understand completely. I've been gluten free since February 2012, which isn't that long, and am headed on vacation with my parents and my sister's family. Instead of looking forward to a week at the beach, I've been worried about what was I going to eat, and what if I gluten myself? Also, I have quite a few allergies and I'm worried about being allergic...
  13. I get a B12 shot once a month at the doctor's office. I have not noticed any ups or downs.
  14. The rash actually looks just like the pictures that "Aeriel" posted in response to your pictures, Dani.
