  1. I was doing so well up until last night. I may not have been as vigilant in wiping up prior to cooking my dinner last night. Within an hour of eating, I had indigestion. My sister had cooked pancakes for breakfast and I am wondering if that may have done it. I had tilapia and butternut squass Which I had been eating with no problems. When I wipe down...
  2. I realize I had a huge problem with dairy about 4 or 5 years ago, when I would have the foulest gas after eating cereal with skim milk. Recently, I have had gas after eating Greek yogurt. That did not seem normal to me.
  3. Hi, I saw that you visited my profile. I hope that you are doing well.

  4. I agree. I do need a new doctor. My rash was a definite indication of the disease. Unfortunately, it seemed to hit me in the summer. I really thought I was going to have answers by now. My doctor only had my FMLA going through June 5 because "we should know what is going on with you by then." Those were her words.
  5. I have never had one. Never done an elimination diet. How does that work?
  6. They took four from the lower end of the duodenum.
  7. I got the actual report. It says: Duodenal biopsy: Duodenal mucosa, no significant histologic abormality Random colon biopsy: colonic mucosa with focal crypt distortion. No colitis is seen.
  8. At least he is trying, so that I appreciate. I talked with a lady at work who noticed my weight loss and complimented me about it and I told her how I had got sick. She said she had a parasite eating at her colon and got so sick, she lost 98 lbs. Nearly killed her. I haven't lost anymore weight, thank God.
  9. They really are! I went gluten free right after my scopes and I have had some good and bad days. I had a bad DH breakout last year, and I have not had one since. I just have these inner elbow and back of knee rashes that itch like heck when I eat something that disagrees with me. Atopic dermatitis, which I understand is a symptom as well. That is enough diagnosis...
  10. And they were negative. Now the GI wants a stool sample to rule out any bacteria. This is disappointing.
  11. I thought it was in my uterus. So I am not the only person who had that! Good to know I am not crazy!
  12. Any recommendations on a good GI in the Kansas City area?
  13. Thanks for the info!
  14. No , no blood in my stool
  15. She didn't say. Through all of this, I have come realize just how awful doctors are.
  16. My doctor just called and stated that I had stool in my colon, some fibroids, and fluid in my pelvic area, but offered no opinions. If I am off gluten what can I do to get my bowels moving? A lot of fibrous veggies bother me. I don't know what to do.
  17. I'm not sure. She does stuff like that often. She called me a few weeks ago telling me my FMLA paperwork was ready to be picked up, her intern called the next day saying it was ready. When I went to pick it up, it was not ready. She filled it out when I got there. I have been with her since I was 18, but it almost seems like she is not listening to you...
  18. I feel your pain. You just want answers as to why you have been feeling so awful. I am there right now.
  19. I called the GI's office today and they stated that they still haven't received the results of my biopsies. It was a week ago today that I had my EGD and colonoscopy. I joked with my coworkers that it probably came back positive, but since I am Black and it is just not possible for me to have it, they keep checking it over and over again.
  20. I guess I forgot to include the question. Is it possible that I caught it early enough to not have any extensive damage? If that makes sense... everything just seemed kind of gradual. I got my asthma diagnosis at 14, GERD/hiatal hernia at 22, anemia at 30, but before this year, I had never been at the point where I was scared to eat and feeling as bad as...
  21. I understand your frustration. This is new for me and we had dinner at my Grandma's and she did not seem to understand that some things will make me sick. I ate what she cooked and I got the left side pain, cramping, and nausea.
  22. I have always had a weak stomach. Whenever I would have diarrhea, I would just say it was my nerves. I used to get so sick after eating Pizza Hut, that I just ate thin crust cheese and for about two years, I have not had any pizza. I would get these bouts so bad that I wasn't able to breath and would have asthma attacks. It would literally feel like my lungs...
  23. Did that upper abdominal pain feel like a constant burning after you ate gluten filled foods?
  24. I'm not sure because she also asked me if he found anything... which she should have known already if she actually had my results.
  25. I think I am going to go ahead and go gluten free regardless. I should have found my own GI. I didn't mean to come rudely if I did.
