ARCHIVED Cleure Products And Makeup-Safe?

That's what I thought then everyone on the salicylate forums say they react to things. I'm not too worried about it but it's still disconcerting to hear you know? I know they use fruit extracts in some things ..and fruit are high sals. Very weird. -
ARCHIVED Cleure Products And Makeup-Safe?

Just confirming here with anyone who uses cleure products...are they safe? I'm buying for gluten free AND salicylic acid free but i know they have a soap with oatmeal and i'm not clear yet what their source of Tocopherol is. So i've e-mailed them again. Just wondering if there are sensitives on here who use them without issue including their lip products... -
I know that I've read here before that smelling gluteny products will not cause a glutening...but I was just over on the salicylic sensitivity forums and read something on an older topic about how when you smell something you are smelling the spores of said food. Like peanuts with people who have peanut allergies it can cause issues....can this be a concern...

Been off gluten since may. Soy..the only possible thing it could be in is ore ida fries. And that's just possibly because it always says this oil and/or that oil and/or another kind heh

ARCHIVED Colgate Watermelon Toothpaste

So I was looking for low salicylic acid AND gluten free toothpaste today. I was on the reye's syndrome website and they listed colate watermelon toothpaste as being low sal. So I call and I'm told today that ALL of colgate's toothpastes are "certified gluten free". This was the first i'd heard of it but i'm sitting here nervous because i saw something on... -
ARCHIVED How Do You Do The Rotation Diet When You Are Limited In Food?
123glldd replied to 123glldd's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Problem is salicylic acid limits the diet...GREATLY. More so than gluten. Can't eat half of those lists. Not having dairy. Coconut and Olive oil are high, A lot of the veggies are high all fruits except perhaps pears are ok...this is really becoming a burden. I'm pretty sure it's more than likely salicylic acid because my stomach upset started from sniffing... -

I am having a liver issue here..bilirubin and last night urobilinogen after a possible gluten or salicylic acid episode starting on the 29th of december. I have no appetite but i'm forcing myself to eat. I have been on a very limited diet..i dunno for sure if my problem is salicylic acid with what happened and i feel i need to go on the rotation diet to... -
I have taken motrin in the past tho many times (And it's an NSAID). For a while after I first took it I was fine and within a week or two the itching i described above happened. Then it came and went over a period of about 2 years maybe? Mostly in winter. But when i was inside not outside. No idea what caused it at the time but i don't get it anymore. Do...

Only asked as I read some topics before where people seemed concerned. My husband was also concerned about the sanitizing liquid. Would it be possible to do you think, for me to just bring my own comb too? And scissors? As for Salicylic Acid Irish Heart I've heard that many people who are celiac find out they have it. I had a reaction to high sals foods...

Yeah my Aunt back in newfoundland use to cut mine *sighs* DAMN! lol I'm not taking a plane ride for a hair cut lol

Okay I'd REALLY like to get my hair trimmed. My husband called a salon for him to go get his hair trimmed a while back and they could not get him in during a time when no one else was there....they just don't do that. We're having a hard time of finding a safer way of going to the salon without having to worry about getting glutened by wheat in hairspray...

the group said this about it..not encouraging Open Original Shared Link NOTE: I did the ice cube test on my forearm just now to see if i get cold urticaria still...i only ever got it on my cheek anyhow but for both me and my husband there was just a red ring surrounding where the ice cube was (which i would think anyone would get really) and no raised... -

I chew peppermint trident gum all the time too and usually my tummy isn't bothering me when i do. So i dunno what to think. Because i'm theorizing that these essential oils i sniffed might have done this...because of their sals content....i just dont know.. -

I've only ever had stomach problems/digestive issues. I did have itching back in 2009 right after a visit to disney...i had a bad flu and my in laws gave me motrin. But that continued on and off for a couple years after and later i found out hypothyroid and celiac can cause this itching sensation under my skin. When my husband first moved in when we were... -

Did you ever need an epipen bartfull? I'm on the sals website now reading their forums and utterly terrified. Some people can't even smell mowed grass and that's a huge childhood memory of mine that i savor during summer weather and i sniff it in and it's comforting. I'm really scared I'll need an epipen and that all this is permanent etc. I'm scared i will... -

I'm always paranoid while walking through the grocery store bread section...it's just unavoidable. I don't get sick but i'm always scared I will and hold my breath So is salicylic sensitivity something that is temporary sometimes then? I'd been sniffing young living essential oils-peppermint and ginger (both high in sals) the couple days before i got sick... -

I'm scared to say I'm beginning to wonder if I have a salicylic acid problem and therefore coconut oil would be out....I've been reading about this and a lot of dark leafy greens are high in it...it seems turnip greens caused tummy ache before but my main reason for thinking this? I recently got some young living essential oils. My husbands Aunt uses them... -

I'm still not sure if i have this but...i read on a website that even smelling it can trigger a reaction is this true? I mean...if i can't have high sals foods and my husband can..does he have to give them up because...i can smell them when he's making stuff in the kitchen... -

OH yes I've taken gravol..i think it's called dramamine or something here but I come from canada originally. I was very sick in the 6th grade and took it all the time. I think now it would probably actually trigger me to be sick just because i associate it SOOOOOOOO strongly with that time. ugh. But on the bright side..the motion sickness comes and goes.... -

Were you getting sick from the celiac or sick from the pain? Ouch. I use to be such a trooper as a child. Day of my kindergarten graduation I got very sick...went home and napped...I was told I didn't have to go but i wanted to. So I was getting sick backstage and everything but...i stil went on and did my little number (each kid had a poem or a song etc... -

I know I've been saying it for years now he's my guardian angel and i'm never letting him go. He's got an autoimmune reaction to gluten as well but he's not much of a reactor that we can tell and he's fine with dairy and all that. It's so depressing when i smell his gluten free pizza and i want some so bad Luckily over the years i got very into fish and...
