  2. We live in the basement apartment of my in laws house..they could do it but i would be too paranoid about stuff in the air after. maybe i'll use wet paper towels to pick up the bit that's there and then the VERY small bit after i'll vacuum ...like so small i can't hardly see it lol it's almost behind the bookcase so it's not anything major it was just left...
  3. We have some wall plaster on the floor behind some furniture left from before going gluten free...how would we go about getting rid of this? normally we would vacuum but will that send this stuff into the air at all?

  8. I just heard recently that Prince Williams wife Kate has celiac...is this true? Is there a link that confirms this? Just thought it was interesting. think that means they had a gluten free wedding cake?
  9. yeah thing is it wasn't before but now it's been months since i've had it so i dunno what it will do to me now =\ i shouldn't have waited so long to pick up and start the next batch...
  10. There is a tab that says label on it. I also contacted the company and it is on their list of gluten free but on the label it says no ADDED gluten. Worried about cross contamination. Soy I avoid in terms of thyroid stuff i have but as far as i know i am not allergic/intolerant. Here is what they told me when i first went to them about soy " The soy listed...

  12. So I've been wanting to make sure my meats are from grass fed animals. I don't have reactions to meat or anything but i just felt it would possibly be the healthier option? Either way..when I look at the meat at our local A&P store I don't see anything stating one way or the other...how do we find out?
  13. We're hoping to get to the local Renaissance Faire this weekend but we'd be spending quite a while there. What do you recommend we do for food? trail mixy type stuff isn't going to cut it..we'll be walking around a lot and probably will be dying for food. Real good food....any thoughts? Most gluten free stuff is frozen and i'm not eating much variety at the...
  14. I haven't been able to read more than the first page of this topic so far as I have to go out but...while some people are appalled this is a religious group I am not. Nothing against the Bible or Churches..I'm not a christian anymore but ...some of the worst bullying i ever experienced was from kindergarten to grade 9 in a pentecostal school. No pun intended...
  15. Me and my husband are getting overwhelmed at just how many job prospects we cannot bother with now because of gluten...are we really stuck with desk jobs if we can find anything? He was even considering learning a trade like carpentry or plumbing...mechanic...it seems almost everything has a gluten worry involved. Food is obviously out. It is already hard...
  16. The past 4 years or so I've gone with my husband and in laws Halloween camping. At this campground they have all kinds of activities including ceramic painting. Many times they had christmas ceramics amongst other things and the first year I painted a camel. I was talking to a friend of mine and she was saying when you fire ceramics the gluten would be destroyed...
  17. When i visited back home in canada i was terrified to find out that when I called about their bacon etc they said they don't actually HAVE their own brand...they get other brands and then package it in the kirkland packaging..which i found utterly weird and I can't figure out why they would do that? You would think companies would be mad about this but it...
  18. I was curious if there was something to it though because of something i've been experiencing i wrote my own thread here :
  19. Something happened to me earlier the month that i thought might have been brought on by paprika or a glutening etc ...not sure still but with that being said..i've felt great the last week or two. With this I want to say i still get small pieces of mucus come out from time to time. Very small bits. But i feel fine. Is this normal? I was just on a thread in...
  20. I know this is an older thread but i came across this today and it raised an interesting question for me reading this response. I've been off gluten since may and i find that im still getting bits of mucus coming out in my stool but i don't feel sick. it's almost every day..small amounts. Been eating fairly bland and have felt great the last week or two since...
  21. I guess maybe some get cross contaminated and some don't. They test their batches so they know theirs aren't so i will still give it a try especially since you said you react to trace amounts even.
  22. So question: The hershey's kisses still come from hershey but they are gluten free? confused by that because i know some people here on the board had reactions to them. Especially the holiday ones as they tend to get produced on the same lines as gluten containing ones and the website mentioned the holiday ones?
  23. You guys are making me hungry! Minus the poop talk that is
  24. Oh I know I was just looking at the gluten free stuff. That being said I just feel more peace of mind buying it from a place that tests like that than actually buying it from the stores.
  25. OMG I THINK I MAY CRY!!!! lololol We don't eat junk food a lot BUT holidays sometimes you just really want what you use to have you know? Especially the holiday hersheys kisses omg!! You've made me soooo happy right now! Thank you !lol So these are actually the brand name products they just happened to be produced in that facility free of gluten? I know with...
