    Yeah I wondered about that too...seems i get a tummy ache here and there so maybe i should stay away from it for now...i dunno...maybe i'll wait a while and look at it as...maybe next time i visit i'll try it. I've only been gluten free. Like really putting in the effort to be completely since I found out may 10th. So....i guess i'll bring ziplock baggies...

    I THINK it's a Lawton's Drugs in the mall. Like Shoppers but not Shoppers. New York Fries I thought was a good one but then i've heard of people being glutened somehow and figured some part of the buns for the hot dogs got into the oil? i dunno...very nervous. I personally don't even need seasoning on those so I was gonna avoid it but *sighs* There IS a asian...

    hmm this really stinks....we dunno what we can eat if we go to the mall and get hungry...i guess finding chips that are trusted or something? gah.... They have a Tim Hortons...New York Fries etc...but i've heard of people being glutened from both now..

    Has anyone here eaten the chili from Tim Horton's since going gluten free? Or the potato bacon soup etc? I know these are gluten free ingredient wise. I understand for some things cross contamination could be a worry but...wouldn't soups be in a closed container and then thrown in that closed pot they keep it in to warm it up? Should their soups and chili...

    Yeah I will probably end up just buying one while i'm there and tell her to keep it there for when we visit lol I do have a nice blue plastic flat board with holes...not sure what the technical name for it is but it's meant for straining like a colander. Could easily fit in my luggage. Has a handle and you just hold it up against the pot.

    Sadly we went to the grocery store one day intending to buy vegetable oil and looking on the back everything said soybean. Could not find one that was labelled vegetable oil that wasn't soy oil. So we went with canola. I also use Olive oil. But it was really annoying to see after finding out i am hypothyroid and should stay away from soy *sighs*.

    Haha yes I am from newfoundland..sounds like home to me! I am anticipating needing sweaters lol I'll be prepared So now everything containing gluten will have gluten in the ingredient label plain as day?

    Turns out she used plastic and wooden utensils in the sauce for the pasta....so we can't eat it...currently making some simple gluten free spaghetti. SOOOOO bummed out right now but it's not worth the tummy ache nauseous feeling I really wanted the pasta she was making *sighs*

    Is there any kind of really small soap pump that can be kept in a purse without oozing out over everything for when out of the house?     So I have this small book of temporary fairy tattoos.     I was told by a make up company that their tocopherol is not taken from gluten or soy but that it's synthesized..has anyone heard of this before and does it mean the product is safe?

    I was using an organic type from a local store...I can't remember the name of it now d'oh!! lol But it had oats! I also saw a few threads on here where people said they had wipes with gluten So i became confused and scared lol *hides in corner with shifty eyes*

    Cover FX (coverfx.com) is apparently all gluten and soy free... I originally asked "Hello I have celiac disease and i'm having a hard time finding gluten free makeup...I was wondering if yours was? That's anything containing wheat, barley, rye or oats or any of their derivatives." etc Also asked about soy..or at least anything other than soy lecithin...
