I talked to a make up company I found that i used for stage makeup and what not. They also have HD makeup. Well they said their products contain no gluten or soy and that there is no need to a high quality company to contain those ingredients. When I asked about cross contamination they said "They guys might eat a sandwich in the break room -

So me and hubby are suppose to be going gluten free. He grew up loving Skippy Peanut butter. So we were just in the grocery store and found through our triumph dining grocery guide...a few peanut butters that are gluten free..awesome..but...he would LOVE to be able to have skippy again lol But it wasn't listed in the book. I could care less most of the time... -

You'd be surprised how people have mixed that up before honestly. But they really SHOULD be more specific...let's say someone was allergic to corn..would be nice if they could know that you know? Stuff like that.. -

It's sure starting to sound that way isn't it? I saw one link where one doctor said he even wondered if anyone should bother eating it due to the negative impact it has in general on so many in the population who might not even realize it's happening. My mom's common law...his daughter has colitis and I'm wondering now if she should try it? -

So last week I got my results from enterolab and they made all too much sense...today my husband has found out he has it for sure too. His fecal fat score was a little more than double mine. I was 332 or so and he's about 790. He drinks a lot of fruity alcohol drinks for supper so....I told him maybe laying off of that could help too but it's not shocking... -

I haven't read the whole thread but....yeesh! This is actually very shocking to me that there are just sooooooo many vegans like that. How did that happen? Very strange. Personally I'm not sure what one should do in this situation..in my opinion dating sites are usually a bad idea. I'm sure some people have found success with it so you don't have to give... -

I e-mailed both these make up companies in hopes that they had make up i can wear....neutrogena typed this: Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies fully comply with all regulations on ingredients in the countries in which our products are sold. Wherever regulatory authorities have set limits on certain ingredients, our product formulations either meet... -
ARCHIVED Make Up And Acting In Movies/stage
123glldd replied to 123glldd's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
That's awesome..I just looked them up but it seems all the foundations are mineral/powder which I don't typically wear. I've heard long time use can cause lung issues for some people it also doesn't give the coverage I look for (not that I wear a mask or anything haha) but the rest of the products could be of great use so thanks for that! -

So me and my husband are involved in different kinds of performing...how should one handle a gluten problem when it comes to make up on stage or sets? This is very unnerving I'm not sure what to do about that? Do we have to give it up? I would think no..but no idea what to do? -

I'll second the above poster on the soy. I don't think I'm allergic but if you have thyroid issues....DEFINITELY stay away from soy. It blocks thyroid hormone. -

For well over a year now I've had a buzzing in my head ..usually while laying down or sitting back relaxing...my head buzzes and I feel like I am a bit dizzy. I don't recall it ever happening while moving around but maybe I'm just forgetting. I'm hypothyroid....gluten sensitive and low adrenals. Does this sound like low blood pressure? Has anyone else had...

123glldd replied to 123glldd's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I didn't get a blood panel because i'm still going through a lot of blood testing to do with thyroid right now and everything is so expensive. I also heard that it doesn't necessarily show up in blood so i went with the stool test which seemed to be more definite from what i'd read all over the place. -

Actually what I'd be curious to know...has anyone taken this test and been shown to NOT be gluten sensitive? If it's legit I would assume there would be people who haven't had gluten intolerance? My husband is currently waiting on his results so I guess we'll see with him lol -

I had to go gluten free irregardless due to hypothyroidism anyhow. But I definitely don't feel as bad when I'm off of it. I've had problems for years with my digestive system. Not sure why any reaction would show in my stool if there wasn't anything? -

Oh I definitely did already as I have yet to have one of my stomach aches since going gluten free. I was getting some stomach aches that made me feel somewhat like i was going to throw up but more of an ache to it really. I haven't had it so far since going completely off the gluten. Why are you not a fan of labs?
