OMG THEY HAVE KISSES, M&M's AND REESES PIECES? Do they actually make them on their gluten free equipment? We were bummed about those things as so many people react to them..we would love to find out we can still eat those chocolates lol -

Thank you so much for the suggestion guys. I dunno if we can pull off farming our own pumpkins BUT that website is definitely something to try. We've also had a hard time finding walnuts and we were going to try to make a variety of cookies at christmas that are gluten free like the gluten ones we use to make...they require walnuts so this may end up being... -

Last fall me and my husband had pumpkin seeds. We baked them in the oven with salt they were SO good. I've heard they are pretty good for you too. But around here i have a hard time finding pumpkin seeds at all let alone ones that we know are free of gluten contamination....and when we have found them? They've been in small packages. Does anyone know of an... -
I know this is an old thread but i had to comment on this...any government who thinks just because the rest of the country typically buys cornstarch too means that you can't claim it is full of ..well..you know. If you go gluten free and you don't buy a lot of pre made meals it's still going to cost you a lot in the end for all the extra vegetables and meats...

My husband is really really feeling hopeless right now. He has a degree in his particular field but it's practically impossible to find work in it these days. So locally there are a lot of farms and food establishments...it's practically the only thing available because everyone here usually commutes to NYC. There is a local place looking for seasonal people... -

So it could be possible that spicy stuff like cilantro chutney might not bother me but paprika might? Or peppers themselves might not bother me but for some reason paprika is a trigger? Because i was eating all kinds of spicy gluten free stuff including the jalapeno kettle chips and suddenly they bother me...but for the last two months i've been gluten free... -

Yeah that's the weird thing...what does it mean if you've been gluten free for two months...eating spicey stuff too...with no problems...then suddenly spicy food is a problem? I mean..what would cause that? -

What pepper is paprika made from? Is there a paprika pepper? LOL I have no clue. It seems normal bell peppers and what not were never a problem. And I was having stuff with hot peppers in it before all this happened and was fine too. -

Oh i know but..i don't see where i could have gotten gluten from...and i've had peppers since going gluten free..there was nothing else new except the paprika but like i said it's mccormicks and they are well trusted by celiacs...i'm very very confused. -

Okay so i went completely gluten free may of this year....i'd been doing really well with it...and suddenly this month i thought i got glutened by paprika. Since this was mccormicks it seemed highly unlikely..everything else i'd eaten before...so i'm thinking now i wasn't actually glutened perhaps.....so here's the thing... I was eating some Kettle Jalapeno... -

I picked up some of these carrots at the grocery store. Being paranoid about anything packaged I messaged them and within an hour they called me saying their carrots and greens are not produced in the same factory as salads with croutons etc ..ok good...but said they cannot guarantee nearby farmland doesn produce wheat etc. Can this be a worry or is it generally... -

There was also only about 1 teaspoon of paprika put in this tomato sauce used on a full schar pizza crust and I had half and hubby had half...would that be enough?I mean...there were 2 cans of tomato..1 tomato sauce and 1 tomato paste...and there is still stuff left over...so we're talking about very very very little paprika! -

ARCHIVED Gluten Free & Medications

I've become very curious about this issue...my Pharmacist told me that if they didn't have something safe they'd have to order it in. My question is ...what do people like us do if we ever end up in an emergency room or something and absolutely need something NOW. Will they have something? If you have a horrible UTI....if your pharmacy doesn't have a gluten... -

I've heard some people have been glutened by paprika. So I bought McCormicks after talking to them and finding out they are gluten free. Okay so we used it on our food and within the hour i was feeling sick. the next day the diarrhea started and i know it could have been something else but the timing is just too perfect..I'm very nervous now on what's okay... -

Is this suppose to be gluten free? I've been trying to figure out WTH might have glutened me this past week. I did a lot of laundry...recently i noticed that the arm & hammer bottle was near empty..next day it was full..so I posed the question to my husband "I didn't know your mother went out how did it get refilled? is that really arm & hammer in... -
Okay so...as some of you know from a previous post i may or may not have been glutened and have been having loose bowel movements for a few days now. Something else I've been noticing is black specks...kinda like small bits of parsley but smaller than that..or pepper....scattered through out. I don't know if this is just because of stuff i had days ago? Or...
