  1. Well I was officially diagnosed today through enterolab. Here were my results. Not sure if my hypothyroidism caused it or if this caused hypothyroidism but I was diagnosed as having irritable bowel syndrome about 20 years ago...Doctor thought i might be lactose intolerant at the time but i wasn't...i guess he should have looked into wheat considering i always...
  2. *nods* that's what I am currently trying..to bring up adrenals...if i have estrogen dominance i'm going on progesterone only..i don't want to deal with estrogen at all that scares me too much. I am also looking into iron etc
  3. Thanks so much guys! Gonna try that with betty crocker!
  4. Very interesting. I too, had an ultrasound. Mine said "no suspicious nodules". Not sure if that means none or just none that looked cancerous. I kinda wonder if I've been gluten intolerant my whole life due to irritable bowel problems up through my childhood and teens. Past few years I've noticed a kind of tissuey film on the outside of my stool when i use...
  5. So..this is the first year me and my husband are gluten free and his birthday is coming up on the 14th. I've been trying to find a really good recipe for soy and gluten free mocha cake. the Gluten is the bigger deal we can have soy if necessary. I tried looking at betty crockers gluten free stuff but I don't see anything mocha. I am doubting i can just get...
  6. I honestly don't handle nausea well....I'll be a wreck as I have a severe fear of throwing up etc
  7. Alas I do have symptoms like slowed down metabolism and feeling cold and sluggish with foggy brain but it seems it could be my adrenals as well..which are also low..and possibly gluten as i only recently went gluten free. So since my bloodwork for hashi's was negative...i'm still thinking I could have it as 90% of people hypothyroid do..but...i've known many...
  8. I found out that you can't know "for sure" that you have autoimmune thyroid issues unless you get a tissue biopsy from the thyroid. Because for some it doesn't show up in blood tests..like celiacs. I am on a gluten free diet now. I wasn't at the time I was diagnosed hypothyroid. By heal i mean if you are not on meds yet...and you are not severely hypo...is...
  9. Do any of you find that cast iron skillets help a lot? I think i saw something online about chewable vitamins made for this sort of thing?
  10. I had blood test with negative antibodies for thyroid disorder and yet my levels were off...I COULD have hashimotos still as i've never had a biopsy but...as of now it seems I don't. Has anyone ever been diagnosed hypothyroid and actually had it heal after going gluten free or addressing something like estrogen dominance with progesterone treatment? I'm just...
  11. Thanks so much for helping me understand this. I was kinda confused. I love Rudi's bread and my husband had a gluten free everything bagel and he LIKES IT! Yay!! lol
  12. So..I have yet to get my iron checked....I hear iron pills tend to upset peoples stomachs....and I have a fear of throwing up. I have recently discovered you can get vitamins as trans-dermal cream. Does anyone know if there is iron supplement cream? *hopeful* Otherwise...eek! I dunno what to do =\
  13. Hello! I'm new to the forum Me and my husband have been trying to get gluten free now for a while. We visited a Whole Foods for the first time the other day.
