  1. I will be visiting home in june so I will get an idea but....from what I've heard it MAY actually be easier. Just outside of St. John's there is a completely gluten free bakery for instance. Dominion and Sobeys apparently have a good selection of gluten free foods. So I'm on the fence on the topic so far.
  2. I know this is an old topic but for anyone considering using baby shampoo...DON'T. The shampoo is specifically designed for the PH balance of a baby's head. I used it back in 2004 and my hair was damaged pretty bad. Luckily my Aunt is a hair dresser and came to my aid with some hardcore conditioning. By all means find a new product but don't use Baby shampoo...
  3. I actually really want the test as the anxiety is doing more harm to me than anything right now....so i'm going in on tuesday morning. Also I was told about the light therapy....I am gonna try that this weekend yes I always feel better on a sunny day
  4. Thanks guys. In the bilirubin topic I created I wrote out my experience with the doctor today..here is what i wrote in that topic: I just got back from the doc and he felt around my abdomen..didn't feel anything weird and asked me if it hurt....i always feel a little uncomfy having my abdomen pressed on but nothing hurt at all. There was a trace small...
  5. I just got back from the doc and he felt around my abdomen..didn't feel anything weird and asked me if it hurt....i always feel a little uncomfy having my abdomen pressed on but nothing hurt at all. There was a trace small amount of billirubin in my urine he said but he thinks at worse it's probably gilberts syndrome. He said starvation (i think? and i haven...
  6. Alright i had something to eat....i have a doctors appointment scheduled for 4:30 and usually takes about a half hour to get in....so hopefully at least 4 hours will have passed by the time they test me for anything as i ate and you are not suppose to eat within 4 hours. Is water allowed? they said no drink either on pages i've read. Very scared right...
  7. I've already read to death about it....but...one of those links said to not eat or drink for 4 hours before a test..does that include water? I also read fasting can cause ir on one of the links..i just got over feeling sick for the most part and not been eating as much as i should..could that effect it then?
  8. OK so I have test strips from Rapid Response....earlier today my test strips showed bright yellow/orangey color for the billirubin on these strips but...that color didn't match anything on the comparison chart....one test showed i had nothing and wasn't yellow..... Later on i drank more water to go again and test again...because i hadn't been drinking...
  9. Guys I am totally freaking out.... #1 I've had anxiety issues most of my life...just putting that disclaimer out there. I KNOW I am overreacting....I just keep..."what if" ing. #2 When i got my enterolab results...my fat content was 332..normal was below 300. My husband was about 700-800. It stated that Biliary Cirrhosis and pancreatic problems...
  10. Was just curious. I've been posting nothing but gluten related stuff on here and I guess I was wondering if there is anyone else here from my home province in Canada? I'm now living in the tri-state region but I was born and raised in Newfoundland up until 2009.
  11. hehehe So much of this stuff is a mystery isn't it?
  12. Well I had dark chocolate last night about 2 hours before bed...and a small bit of rice noodles with celtic sea salt on them. Not specifically for the purpose of trying out the low blood sugar theory. I didn't wake up in the middle of the night. However one of my theories was also I was getting too warm.....yesterday my husband put the air conditioner in...
  13. This is awesome. I second everyone else..get out of the fast food for sure. Working that long without a break is WRONG. SO so wrong.
  14. Oh gosh do I hope this is just withdrawl from gluten lol
  15. Likewise we were impressed by chuck e cheese's idea as well. Really hope we get it in this area. We don't care if it's for kids...we're big kids anyhow lol
  16. Interesting thought....I want to try a snack before bed but...heh....terrified of having anything in my tummy before bed cause of the nausea. Oh gosh i hate this!
  17. Oh gosh...pricking my finger..i did that once using my grandma's because she has type 2 diabetes....i didn't like it lol I dunno if i could do it to myself... if it was low what would i do? eat something with sugar?
  18. Achey and makes me feel nauseated. Bloating not so much...no farts or anything...but...I tend to go to the bathroom to see if that's what's causing the problem..usually very little of anything comes out.
  19. Not sure...last time i had it checked was november and i was pretty normal. Could I be having gluten withdrawl? it's been less than a month that i've been completely free of it...and i accidentally used some facial moisturizer earlier the week that is apparently not gluten free so...who knows i guess?
  20. I use to wake up a couple years ago and feel sweat on my chest but i'm not getting that. So I dunno if I would consider it night sweats. I'm very edgy because it ALWAYS happens primarily at night. I dunno why it would always happen then. The primary symptom is nausea. And discomfort but i have NO idea what could be causing this...i have nothing but gluten...
  21. Something is very wrong..i keep waking up ...heart rate up...feeling warm...and feeling sick...like really...for the past 3 or 4 nights. I have no idea if this is a gluten issue....that i'm getting cross contaminated somehow...or if something else is wrong. Took pulse last night...about 75 but usually just before and after sleep i'm around 60.=\ I know that...
  22. I see no one responded to this..i was searching the forums for goat's milk soap to see if it was gluten free and I saw this...may I just say the end of that first paragraph had me loling. Seriously. So funny. But awesome there was no discomfort from the goat's milk. P.s. goat's milk soap is pure awesome.
  23. I'm not sure what it is but I was definitely told it contains soy as well. So it's definitely out for me *sighs*
  24. I tried e-mailing neutrogena again about soy and got word for word the same response i got before about gluten. They totally ignored my soy inquiry. And stated in the e-mail they couldn't guarantee it wasn't gluten free.
