  1. Just a note...it's unlikely it's milk if i've been drinking it again since june and felt fine right? I dunno if i have a dairy intolerance but it hadn't been bothering me so...and during the time i wasn't drinking milk i still had products MADE with milk ...and i was ok.
  2. Ok for some reason i'm now in the 98's again maybe i was just feeling flushed at the time *headdesk* I also came across a ton of stuff about tapeworms online and i'm scaring myself too lol
  3. My temp is up again =\ just check it and it's 99.2. Hmmm
  4. Thanks....think thai kitchen noodles should be good? I love those things.
  5. Added note..I've used the washroom again and it was clumped up a bit more. No mucus that I could tell. There also wasn't in my diarrhea...just what i had last night.
  6. Typically I don't have any issues with that. Since going gluten free my tummy aches seems to go away and i haven't really had any issues but... the day it started this is what i had Jimmy Dean - Fully Cooked Original Pork Sausage Patties, Rice Chex, Horizon Organic milk (i've been drinking milk now for a while and i've been fine so i don't think it's that...
  7. So the other day I started to feel a little sick i'm pretty sure everything was gluten free according to what we've found out...i've still been eating though yesterday i didn't get as much into me as the day before.... Here's the thing..and this might be gross...but we're all use to that here right? So the first night when i started feeling ill...
  8. Okay I'll just be careful as usual then. If i pick it up i'll also call them to be sure.
  9. Don't get me started when it comes to believing reps. I talked to kraft foods about cheese whiz when i was visiting home in canada and the ingredients looked ok but i decided to play it safe..the rep said no don't eat it..there's gluten. So then I had to call about something else after..different rep told me the shpiel about how they will clearly list...i...
  10. I wonder what the other threads were talking about with the Apple Cider Flavored vinegar having gluten? Unless they changed it in the last few years and i was reading old threads?
  11. I'd never heard of it either but if you search on here people were talking about it...the fact that it's listed there is making me nervous the grocery guide may not be trustworthy.
  12. Okay so I read a few posts on here saying to watch out for Heinz Apple Cider FLAVORED vinegar. I have the Triumph Grocery guide and decided to look in there and it not only list the plain Apple Cider vinegar but the APPLE CIDER FLAVORED. Is this book actually not reliable? This really bothers me.....
  13. Thanks everyone..tried Badger Balm and it didn't work. Tried Repel when I read the thread that was just posted to me...but it said to not apply to face so i didn't..mosquitoes went for my face *sigh* I dunno what to do anymore. We also have Cutters to try out. Haven't really wanted to experiment lately as I already have well over 20-30 bites on my body that...
  14. Lately I've been using the product "After bite" because of bad mosquito bites i received about a week ago...i've been wearing jeans ever since so i don't think i'm accidentally touching it and then my mouth...I keep forgetting to call the company to find out if there is gluten in this product....i do have breaks in my skin from intense scratching of the bites...
  15. This may sound strange but me and my husband were in the grocery store earlier and i picked up a straw hat and put it on my head when suddenly i realized i don't have a clue what straw hats are made from? it's not wheat or anything is it???? lol
  16. Really really strange...well...I honestly trust the fact that they say they label properly...i still use their shredded cheese and what not but i'm just a little nervous now but a lady i talked to on the phone the same day as the guy who originally told me this....she said what you all are saying...so it's rather confusing. Seems like there is a divide with...
  17. Gee I wonder if it's the same guy I got on the phone before? So i SHOULDN'T assume spices means gluten then like he was saying?
  18. Oh I didn't want the cheese whiz but my mom may put it on my gluten free hamburger bun for instance and put it in the oven to toast it to have hamburgers etc. I just called about their peanut butter..and the guy...who i hope isn't the same guy...gave me the same talk about labeling and i felt okay about it but then he went on a seperate shpiel and said...
  19. To add to this now..I called them about something from my grandmothers house the other day...regarding a jello chocolate pudding snack. I wasn't sure about what one ingredient was and i wanted to be sure so i called them and the guy on the phone told me it contained stuff derived from gluten.....even though nothing was clearly listed..so i was confused.....
  20. So in the states I always get this product and it says certified gluten free.....here in Canada on my visit...my husband bought another flavor and it's certified gluten free....i got my chocolate again and it DOESN'T say it..and I'm after eating it.....I'm very confused..have I been glutening myself since being here? It doesn't have the gluten free symbol...
  21. Knowing they were suppose to be updating labels this month to say gluten free I e-mailed them and received this reply this afternoon (I am currently back home in Newfoundland, Canada)... "Thank you for contacting us. The FDA requires that we list the following allergens on our ingredient labels: 1. Egg 2. Soybean (excluding high refined oil) ...
  22. I just called them actually and they said if wheat is included it will be on the label..wheat is the only form of gluten they would use she said. She said they have a big washdown of the shared lines in between and they change the oil and wash down that too etc...it seems unlikely to me anything would be left *shrug* Just read the label to make sure it's...
  23. I'm in Canada right now visiting my family..I was calling some companies making sure about different foods that mom has here in the house..I was informed by Kraft that Cheese Whiz is NOT gluten free. I read on this website it was.....is there a difference between U.S. and Canada or what?
  24. hahahaha Yes b'y we're like a plague taking over the planet! ;D Almost anywhere you go you can run into another Newfoundlander haha ;D But that's certainly awesome news about the labeling. I guess the trip after this one it will probably be implemented! Right now I'm worried about finding products i know are safe down here...going home on my visit and...
  25. Hehehe hey we're all different people with different tastes *shrug* I like both Starbucks and Timmy's. Since living down here all we can get are Starbucks...we miss the fraps though. SO FAR...my husband gets iced coffee during the summer and is fine. We're doing okay without the fraps..hopefully we're not getting glutened by the coffee somehow but I doubt...
