  1. I guess I would have to ask one of the leaders who stay there to make sure no one uses them...it's just sometimes there is a hell of a lot of paint to wipe off...sometimes 3 or 4 times...full face make up..oh what a mess it will be =\ Any suggestions on the masks? I just realized even the face pain is prably contaminated somehow..i'd have to ask *sighs* ...
  2. I know many people have asked and been met with hand sanitizer instead but here's the thing... Sometimes I LARP. Live Action Roleplay. At least once during the weekend you have to NPC...which means play a non player character. Canon fodder. You are there to fight against the characters. It's something everyone has to do at least a couple hours every LARP...
  3. Oh my god I'm totally with you on the vomit thing. As a teen i could watch movies like the Exorcist even...can't go near it now. I am soooooo sensitive to throwing up I'd never be able to clean it up lol What a nightmare!
  4. Hmm my antibodies were all normal...and...i had an ultrasound..all the doctor told me was "no suspicious nodules found". Dunno if that means no nodules or just none to make them think cancer?
  5. I guess my big concern is going cross border. Typically they don't like you to bring food across. Also...am I allowed to bring snacks in flight? For some reason I thought I couldn't heh. I don't trust them to have gluten free available. They had some tastey veggie chips the last time but that was before i knew i had to go gluten free so i'm unsure if it was...
  6. Neither option works now.
  7. Okay...so around mid month we're driving up from the tri state region to montreal..then taking a flight to see my family in Newfoundland, Canada. How should we cope with the food issue? We know there are snacks but..sometimes you need at least one meal. The drive is about 6 hours for us. Then there is the predicament the night we're in montreal (we fly...
  8. Sooo...I can relax then? ;D lol
  9. Okay so I have the triumph grocery guide and it said these beans were safe...me and hubby just ate them...taste great but...are they really gluten free? I went on goya's website but i don't see it listed..it only mentioned blue label beans but...these are not the red label either....I'm assuming Triumph would never put something like that in the grocery guide...
  10. Okay so i made a post a while back now about a make up company that told me all of their products were gluten free...Graftobian. Their make up i think is.....but the moisturizer turns out it has RIGHT ON THE LABEL....hydrolyzed wheat gluten. Is this the stuff that people think you can even eat and be safe even though it isn't? I refuse to keep this. I e-mailed...
  11. Good! Relatively inexpensive option to find at normal stores hehe
  12. So I've been looking for a facial moisturizer and Burts Bees said to contact them for the gluten free status of certain products... This was the response I got: "Thank you for contacting Burt's Bees. While we can identify products in which we do not use raw materials containing gluten, we cannot certify that our vendors did not process these ingredients...
  13. Okay so I am in the process of replacing all my toiletries...what about nail polish remover? I have a cutex nail polish remover...was considering getting non acetone just because it would be healthier to use. Is it okay to use nail polish remover? I mean...as long as you wash your hands after before you go to eat anything with your hands? Not sure what to...
  14. A blizzard? I won't touch them. I just got vanilla and chocolate icecream in a cup as a sundae with hot fudge on it...no other toppings. I have had the buster bar before but it was in a paper wrapper and not done up
  15. True. While I seem to be able to eat stuff with dairy in it with no problems..i haven't had milk in about a week and will be trying it again soon..perhaps my innards healing are aggravated by the dairy? Or maybe it was just a freak thing lol
  16. I must say...I woulda just stopped giving the kid ice cream lol Unless it was coconut milk that was used etc
  17. So we read on Dairy Queen's website that their soft serve and certain toppings were ok. So I got a sundae with the vanilla and chocolate twist. And hot fudge topping. Nothing else. About 2 hours later cramping and I went to the washroom. Smelly...loose but not total D. And a lot. Do we know this is actually safe? I assumed as long as I had something on the...
  18. Awesome! Thanks guys
  19. So I've been killing myself trying to find make up without gluten ...still having a hard time with unscented moisturizer. I was using neutrogena oil free for sensitive skin and was told by the company it contains gluten. Been using garnier and finding it has a smell and feels kinda icky to me. I am currently waiting on a moisturizer from the graftobian.com...
  20. For sure. I am guessing I either have Gilbert's Syndrome like my Doctor theorized or maybe I'm not just gluten sensitive but full blown celiac (I think i heard in someone elses thread that's what would possibly cause it?) and had increased bilirubin like some others did. I did another test strip yesterday morning before i went as I had to use the washroom...
  21. Oh I was put on nutrimetrix vitamin D3 +k2 last november for a month..every day. Then every other day there after. and YES i felt better. But now that i'm completely gluten free it may be really starting to kick in. But really there is nothing like being outside in the fresh (or semi fresh ? lol) air. I had my ultrasound today....AND got the results...
  22. Well I took another test this morning..it MIGHT have been a bit lighter than it was before the weekend. I'm going for the ultrasound tomorrow morning. A little nervous but..something I noticed was....the weekend i felt great....we got home and within a couple hours i got a bit of a tummy ache...but when i took my anti anxiety meds (clonazepam) it subsided...
  23. Replied in wrong topic. edited.
  24. Awesome. Not sure if I've been to Lawn before. My family has it's roots in Bonavista and Grand Bank. I grew up in St. John's.
