    This kind of explains why people would suddenly get affected by Lyme when exposed to mold in a home or elsewhere. This happens more often than not....the Lyme isnt causing illness until the mold (or some other toxin) comes into play. So yeah....I would imagine mold exposure could turn a less active infection into something much worse.

    Well...the baking of the oats has proved to really help with the mold situation. I'm eating my cookies just fine but this would not be the case if I werent baking the oats and just eating it as cereal. I tried to buy organic oats but the only ones they had were Bobs Red Mill extra thick oats....the quick oats werent organic. My cookies didnt work out...

    Jin...carageenen is HEINOUS. I cant do much soymilk....but I cant do ANY carageenan....its definately one of those scary ingredients to avoid. Where is Patti??     Andrea....about the ears. YES....big time candida in the ears and sinuses. This is where I feel it the most when I take my Nystatin....also when I eat the yogurt or other yeasty things.     Potatoes turn straight to sugar and are supposed to be avoided on anti-candida diet. I still eat some but its better to eat it with some protein. Eat it with some meat and see if it makes a difference. Dont eat rice or potatoes (or any high starchy food which will rapidly turn to sugar) on an empty stomach...eat it with protein. Its better not to eat...

    Lisa......6 scoops!!!! Thats ALOT. The recommended dose for mine is only 2 scoops a day. My doctors never have me starting out at the recommended dose. I'm not even taking one whole scoop yet.     Milk will feed candida (lactose is milk sugar)....personally I would not drink the raw milk anyway...whether it feeds candida or not. If you can tolerate almond butter...eat it....eat what you can tolerate that is not sugar and high carb white starches, processed foods, cheese, etc. I'm sure you know what to avoid on candida diet right?     I think I may want to get tested for hypercoagulation at some point....just to know if its an issue or not. Its one of those things that can stand in the way of recovery.     I put my homeopathic drops in glasses of hot water and let them sit for awhile....the alcohol evaporates. Dont know if that takes care of any gluten that might be present but I havent had any problems with my homeopathic drops at all. My NDF actually says "gluten free alcohol" on the label.     Yeah...I wasnt including the topical stuff....just 3 forms of oral nystatin. I know about the topical stuff cuz in their confusion about nystatin powder they gave me the topical powder. WTH??? What if I would have taken it home and taken it orally?? I was not too happy with the pharmacy.

    Hmmm... I only know of 3 kinds of Nystatin. Pure Nystatin Oral powder....mix with water. Oral liquid suspension...tastes sweet cuz of sugar. Tablets which you suck on. Are you sure you're directions said to swallow them?? I never heard of a nystatin pill that you swallow....will have to look that one up. I was trying to find out more...

    I'm pretty sure they're mostly for oral candida...and not infection of the GI tract. I had first read about the oral powder (and instructions on how to take it) in one of my Candida books "The Yeast Syndrome).
