  1. Tears are another way the body detoxifies. I have always said that when I get a really bad reaction my body literally forces me to cry. Lots of times my tears would be "sticky"...or they would burn...other times the tears are wet and normal. It didnt matter that I wasnt upset about anything....I would cry involuntarily and also a HUGE amount of mucus will...
  2. Bev, I seriously dont think they are going to find Refractory Sprue...and I highly doubt Crohns as well. I think they arent going to find anything...which is good considering the choices. Even with all I've got going on....all this craziness in my gut and not being able to eat anything...having lost 25 lbs. at one time and having all my food coming...
  3. Yeah...you can only be on disability for 1 year exactly and after that you can be terminated. I went off and on diasability 3 x and then the last time I stayed off for one full year and I knew that after 12 months I'd have to go back to work. It turned out that you need to be back at work for 3 months straight in order to start a "new" claim and then...
  4. I talked to Anna about my diet and candida. I told her I'm really focusing on this now and I'm already feeling better. I asked her if having so much candida could be whats causing me to not excrete well. She said that the yeast could definately be clogging up my pathways and getting in the way of detox. I told her how I'm not doing ice cream anymore...
  5. Yeah...I guess I graduated. If my pathways get blocked I'm sure I'll start feeling really sick....like I felt when I was taking all that NDF. I'm being so good with everything right now. I'm still doing my NDF only every OTHER day and I'm not racheling anything!! I felt really GOOD today. I didnt have alot of symptoms until I got into...
  6. Yup...this totally describes my first week totally off gluten, processed food, sodas, juice, cigarettes, etc. I actually thought I was dying though. Everything I ate I reacted to 1000 x worse than normal...also chemical sensitivities were through the roof. The chemical thing was totally unreal...I was reacting to chemicals in EVERYTHING. After about...
  7. My understanding of a Herx is that if its a "true" Herx you will be left feeling better than you felt prior to the Herx. I would imagine this wouldnt really be the case if you cant excrete toxins though....if you kill stuff and your elimination paths are blocked...you probably wont feel better afterwards. If you continue to feel worse for an extended...
  8. Just a quick drive by...I only skimmed posts...will be back later. Laura....awesome news!!! I hope this means mine are still available too!! Ok...I got put on Transfer Factor tonight. Who else is on TF?? This is a totally different TF from what Dr. Rick had me on last year. Anna put me on this stuff.... Open Original Shared Link So as...
  9. The "spit test" is not a reliable method of testing. First...yeast is something which lives in ALL of us...the spit test cant diagnose if candida albicans (a pathogenic yeast) is overgrown. If you go around and have all of your friends who are perfectly healthy do the spit test...you will find that many of them get the same results you're getting....except...
  10. I had the same results as you...I tested positive for IgA, tTG, and malabsorption. I have no Celiac genes. I've since come to the conclusion that Enerolabs "gluten sensitivity" genes dont mean much at all...nearly the entire population here in the US is going to have these genes, or Celiac genes...or one of each. Gluten sensitivity genes mean nothing to...
  11. I agree with what Brian has said regarding diet. Theres no way around it....you need to do both antifungals and diet to control candida. The most important part of treating candida is often left unmentioned...this is determining the *cause* of the candida overgrowth. If you dont address the cause....the candida will almost always come back once you go...
  12. It does sound like Lyme....and you could also have Celiac as well (if you are genetically susceptible). Alot of Dr.'s know even less about Lyme than they know about Celiac...I would definately see a Dr. who specializes in Lyme and not a regular Dr.....and not an infectious disease specialist (surprisingly they know nothing about Lyme). Its true that...
  13. I take activated charcoal. I dont know about gas pains and such....my Dr. has me taking it because I'm on treatment for yeast and heavy metals. Charcoal helps to absorb toxins in the gut (i.e. yeast die-off). I just buy the brand they sell at Whole Foods.
  14. Laura, Its interesting and I wouldnt be surprised if Lyme is the reason for alot of peoples GI distress and ongoing diarreah. When I had to get treated for C. Diff I joined that board to learn whatever I could. There are soooo many people on there with ongoing diarreah. They were once found to have C.Diff and even though they've done treatment and...
  15. Awwww Patti....stupid gluten. I hope you feel better soon....drink lots of water.
  16. Thanks for posting that Andrea. For some reason I had thought her blood draw was yesterday?? Hmmmm...maybe that was my own blood draw I was thinking of. Hopefully everything goes well and we'll hear from her soon enough. Andrea....Michelle is in Tahoe with Dave and all the other managers...its some big Safeway "event" they have every year with...
  17. Donna...I was just doing a search on some candida stuff and came across a post from a candida site. Guess who's post it was?? Is was yours.....back in 2004. You were talking about your itchy heel. And then...I read that your Dr. gave you a prescription for Diflucin. But just ONE pill!! WTH is that??? Oh yeah...one pill....thats...
  18. My Dr. only uses Igenix for Lyme testing so I never had to order the tests myself. The first tests he ordered for me were the Western Blots. There are two....IgM and IgG. Carla ordered her own and brought the kit to her Dr. I believe. Not exactly sure which panel she ordered.
  19. "Rachel Style"....does that mean super long post...with no less than 30 small paragraphs??
  20. Patti......WOO-HOO....we have a celebrity in the house!! Totally adorable pic. Jin...you too...very cute.
  21. Hi Laura. I dont have any appt.'s this week except for my blood draw which is now out of the way..and BioSET.....but thats every week. So nothing exciting for me coming up just yet.
  22. Hi... I actually dont have a problem with corn itself...its more of an issue with mold. My original post in this thread is actually over a year old so I've discovered quite a bit since then. This thread has been ongoing and many of us have been diagnosed and are currently being treated for things like Lyme, Mercury, candida, etc. Most of us have...
  23. It wasnt just for CD57....he ordered liver and kidney tests as well. I had a ton of liver and kidney testing while I was still with Kaiser but its been a couple years now so Dr. S. wanted to make sure everythings still ok. The new girl definately was NEW. I think I might have actually been her FIRST blood draw. The nurse was right there and observing...
  24. Lisa.... I've had all the symptoms you listed. Even now if I get too many toxins in me I get really pale and my hands and face look a little "yellowish" to me. I think its probably because of the liver. I know my skin color looked AWFUL when I drank alcohol. I havent touched it for more than 2 years now. I got the ear popping too...I think its from...
