  1. Carla, Definately enemas are still useful even when the bowels are moving. When you're dealing with Lyme, candida or any other toxic illness...its used more to flush out toxins and this can help even if you're not constipated. The coffee one especially is good for stimulating the liver to dump toxins. Its probably too much for me right now....unless...
  2. I just gotta share this with you guys.... Found this on LN...in a thread titled..."Simple, Easy and Cheap Diagnosis of Lyme" I think the poster was mocking the person who started the thread...but still...I thought it was funny as heck! and then this... ROFLMAO.
  3. I'll never stop laughing over that! Ok....dragging my toxic body to bed now...yup so early on a friday night. I need rest....but FIRST...I need cookies!! I wont be tossing these cookies though. and some final thoughts.. Donna....you're gonna do great. Your solo is gonna be beautiful. I dont think they let just anyone do solos....
  4. Yeah....I can schedule to go in if I need to...but I dont feel like I need to. I get the feeling this is gonna happen regardless.....and I just gotta deal with it. I'm not really in bad shape...going to work everyday...getting stuff done....I'm not depressed....not having problems eating. So its basically just the histamine reactions and not really...
  5. Yeah...but I really only wanted to know if its normal to "toss cookies" (as Carla so graciously put it ) after the sauna?? Apparantly it only happens to me.
  6. ROFL.. Yeah....that weekend I googled the heck out of "sauna and vomit" "sauna and throw up" "sauna and puke your guts out" and I came up with NOTHING. OMG...that never happens...I can always find something....but this time I came up empty. I'm gonna do what you said and take days off for resting my body. There will definately be no...
  7. Judy....how frusterating that you lost all that info. I hope you can share some of it again...even if its just in bits and pieces. We're here for you...as always!! I'm happy you trust your Dr. and are getting some testing done. I'm glad you're getting the Lyme test....even if its not Igenix. If this one is negative you can still do Igenix...
  8. Ok....so I am WAY freakin toxic!! Not like thats any kind of shocking new development or anything...but yeah..I'm a toxic dump site. I'm realizing that ANYTHING I do to try to detox stirs up a whole lot of stuff. No wonder I wasnt doing well on supplements ....aside from the intolerances I think anything that is meant to promote health or detoxification...
  9. Yup. Totally true...you gotta be able to get rid of the toxic waste or you'll feel....well....like toxic waste...GARBAGE.
  10. Charlie, My guess is that you've stirred up Lyme and other toxins. I'm not even on antibiotics but when I do stuff to stir up toxins I can stay symptomatic for several days. This happens from doing even the minor detox stuff...as well as taking detox supplements, Nystatin, the sauna I had, etc. If you are doing other things alongside the antibiotics...
  11. I do believe that I'm non-Celiac gluten intolerant...as do my Dr.'s (ALL of them). I wasnt dividing anything....some people just happen to be non-celiac gluten intolerant. It really doesnt matter one way or the other with regards to the diet but people have every right to choose how they describe their intolerance. Many people here choose to be labeled...
  12. It seems unlikely that you would be getting those type symptoms from the Armour....but I'm sure its not impossible. I take Armour and dont have problems with it and I'm someone who literally has reactions to just about everything...food, meds, chemicals...you name it. Do you have any problems with pork?? The Armour is from dessicated pig hormone. ...
  13. 1. Has anyone had any luck submitting cost to blue cross insurance I didnt submit to insurance....just paid out of pocket for the complete panel. I later also tested for eggs and yeast. I dont think the soy test was available at that time. 2. Can you swap out out the yeast allergy part of the test for milk allergy in the test that includes soy...

    ARCHIVED Stanford Celiac Clinic

About a year and a half ago I wanted to see the head GI at the Stanford clinic (forget her name). They wouldnt accept me without a positive biopsy. Mine was negative but had been done after 6 months gluten-free. They were going to schedule me with another Dr. there but wanted all my records from my previous GI first. I ended up never going because I found...
  15. Well sheeesh...I could have really used a knock-knock joke last night!! Where was your daughter when I needed her jokes!! Donna, I dont think anyone who's posted actually thinks Enterolab is a scam. I certainly dont think its a scam...I think he (Dr. Fine) really believes in the tests. We just dont know how valid they are at this point...
  16. I agree...address this now. Dont wait to see if more symptoms develop...see a specialist (LLMD) and make sure this wont progress. One week of antibiotics isnt nearly enough if he's been exposed...but you can still catch this early if he indeed has Lyme.
  17. ROFL... Bev...when I was reading this I was thinking "Well I must be really dumb cuz I've never heard of them either??" I'm doing castor oil packs but I do it the hard way. I make the pack and keep it in the fridge. I bought everything for my pack at WF. Personally, I dont think its too necessary at this point...
  18. OMG...I totally liked the taste of it when I started it...and of course I racheled the heck out of it until I threw up 3x after my sauna. Since then I dont even wanna look at it...just thinking about it makes me naseaus and I think its the grossest stuff ever!! What do you think happened?? Yeah...100% nerdliness. ...
  19. Kassandra, If they didnt run the tTG or EMA...and you plan on getting retested you may want to be back on gluten for more than 2 weeks for accurate results. You do need to be back on gluten for a few months (at least) prior to the biopsy. Even if the biopsy is negative....you may still have Celiac. The biopsy is "hit or miss".....and alot of times...
  20. Susan....I made it to your thread!!! Was worried about you and Tika all day. Wow...that vet is EXPENSIVE! But yes, they are our babies and worth every cent. I had to pay over $1000 for Bear about a year and a half ago. He had a big lump on his back. I had them remove it and prayed and prayed that it wasnt cancerous or anything bad. It was...
  21. Rinne.. Lyme CL... I love it...
  22. Hey everyone. I'm having major problems with the board.....aggravating threads aside. I cant get to alot of pages and the pages are loading very slow....so sometimes not at all. Are me and Donna the only ones experiencing this?? I tried to read what I could and I was WAY behind...cant respond to everything so just gonna jump in here....
  23. Nancy, I think you are interpreting my posts in a way that you choose to and not at all how I intended them to be interpreted. I dont feel as if I have to constantly defend myself to someone who is cleary not "getting" what I am saying.....and who clearly has some issues with the fact that I'm not 100% behind Enterolab's testing. When I post...
  24. Ok...now that I read that I'm thinking if you ever got bit it could definately have been in NY or Georgia. Sheeeesh Patti....I think those 3 states are in the top 5. But yeah...you just never know. I'm glad you're getting the SIBO test....I think its good to get tested for lots of things. The more you know the better. I'm outdoorsey and everything...
