    Carla, Sorry...you are asking the wrong person. Remember.....I'm the one who was throwing all the mail into the trunk... frantically trying to get my results from the Dr. and all the while they were sitting in my TRUNK!     If your tests are negative you probably dont have a problem with gluten. Enterolab doesnt diagnose Celiac though...so you may *react* to gluten but not have Celiac. Your test would still be positive if you react to gluten. I got all the Enterolab tests and I dont have a Celiac gene....so I dont have Celiac. But everything else was positive and the...

    Most Lyme tests come back negative even when the person has Lyme...its because most Dr.'s dont use a qualified lab. Also Lyme is really really hard to diagnose....the bacteria has a way of "hiding" from the immune system so its really tricky and often hard to get a positive test.     Yeah...and I'm kinda partial to him since he's the one that said "Have you been tested for Lyme Disease??....we need to do that right away." He seems to have all of the knowledge....only thing is he NEVER smiles....he's VERY VERY serious. Whatever....as long as I get some help.

    Mine is on the list too but I'm not gonna be able to see her until March. If I get impatient there are lots of others in my area but my own Dr. is really good too. He's not on the list but he works with 2 other doctors in the same office and they're both on the list. I figure the Dr. I'm seeing is probably considered a LLMD.

    When I took 3 grains of Armour the heart palps were most definately from too much Armour. 6 grains would probably put me in the hospital or something. My correct dose is 1 1/2 grains. I dont have thyroid function due to RAI....and STILL even with NO thyroid gland...3 grains would be WAY too high for me. According to all the tests I have low adrenal...

    Winter sucks. I've always said I feel way worse in the winter....now I know why! I normally BLAST the heater all winter because I hate being cold. I'm realizing that the more you eliminate things that are bothersome in your diet and environment....the more obvious the things that are still there become.     Yeah....it all comes down to the insurance companies not wanting to pay for the massive amounts of antibiotics that would be needed if Dr.'s were allowed to treat Lyme Disease as it *should* be treated.....long-term. WildCondor talked about this in her story as well.

    Ok...going back is not so scary when you use the search feature. The controversy surrounding Lyme is also a large part of what the documentary "Under Our Skin" will be about. They are half-way through production but need more funding to complete the film.

    Yup...I gotta say it too. Beware the Lyme!! Check out my avatar....I love wildlife but now I have Lyme Disease! Deer in the backyard = ticks that may be carrying Lyme....BE CAREFUL.

    Carla, I read that when the house is closed up and heaters are going..the indoor pollution level rises VERY high. Its far worse than the city air outside. OK...I'm REALLY going to the mailbox this time.....

    Lymetoo, My Western Blots werent positive....they were equivocal. They werent CDC positive. I had another test that Igenix ran the same time they did the Western Blots. It was an IFA test and it came back VERY positive. Do you know anything about this test?? It says that its only 80% specific for Lyme. It could come back positive for other reasons...

    Good point Donna. Yeah....it happened at both houses....same problems with the air. It must be dust and other allergens. Its probably even worse right now since the heaters have just started being used. I use my car heater everyday...even in the summer. When I get up at around 4 am...its cold no matter what time of year....so my heater always gets used but...

    Hmmmm....I wonder if I should have someone come and clean the ducts?? My house is 7 years old....the downstairs vents dont seem to be blowing out any air at all for the past couple years. I dont know why that would happen . The upstairs vents are working fine and it warms up very quickly....downstairs is more open with high ceilings but I still cant...
