    OMG...I'm freezing. Its not 28 here....its somewhere in the 30's. I cant handle it. I miss my heated bed that I dont have anymore. I'm hoping this will end soon....it seems much colder than normal winter temp. Julie....7 degrees I think I would die. I'm just reading along too.     I asked my Dr. about all this....what he said did not sound good. He was saying that they are no longer allowed to treat Lyme with more than 21 days of antibiotics. This started about a month ago. He said that unfortuantely the medical community is divided on this. Half of the doctors do not acknowledge chronic Lyme. They will call it Fibromyalgia...

    Well the Mayo Clinic sucks for not acknowledging Lyme. Same with Stanford here in Ca.

    I saw it...my Dr. told me about this at my last visit. He said as of right now its not a felony to provide more than 21 days of antibiotics....but it is REALLY REALLY frowned upon. Its scary.

    Was your gp ordering a stool test for parasites?? Or was that a different Dr.?? I forgot. It would be good to be tested for Ghiardia and H. Pylori. I think Ghiardia would cause lots of diarreah....I dont remember if you have this problem or not?? Is it Monday yet??? I'm super impatient for my Dr. appointment. Linds...

    Yeah...real nice. Thats why I learned I have to be proactive as far as my health...and my diagnosis/treatment. No way would I completetly trust a doctor again.     Miamia, From what I've read about co-infections it seems like most people with Lyme will also have co-infections. If you dont identify the co-infections and just treat Lyme....you dont get better. The co-infections should be treated before or at the same time as Lyme treatment.     Did you have the full Celiac panel with the total serum IgA tested? Is it possible that dd#1 is IgA deficient?? That would be a reason for having a false negative bloodtest.

    Thanks Andrea I must confess though...it was mom who did it. Actually I wrote everything down myself.....then my mom took it from me and put it on the fridge.     Hmmmm...good question. I believe he was going to BioSET first though.....because she was the first to tell him he had Lyme. His Dr. had referred him to her for his allergies but in the initial testing she found that he tested positive on the Lyme panel.     Donna....whenever I've called them and got the machine I've just called back later. I hate leaving messages...usually the receptionist girl will answer at some point.     Donna, BioSET lady #2 called me today. They want me to put 2 bowls of water in the house....one in the living room and one in my room.     I did the Candida diet/antifungals/supplements etc. I didnt need a Dr. to help me although I did have an N.D agree with me on the diagnosis. I spent alot of time on Candida message boards and I was really strict with the diet. All I ate was organic veggies (not the starchy or sweet ones), organic meat, eggs and fish. I was on the diet for 4 months....

    Linds, I think getting checked for the parasites is a smart idea. I'm still concerned alot about the whole being near the woods and having deer ticks all around and stuff like that... Out of the 50 states your state (Minnesota) ranks in the top 10 for reported cases of Lyme Disease. The statistics I saw were for 1997-2003. Minnesota ranked...

    IMO...yeah....I think its much worse. With gluten...I did the same thing....looked at everyone as if they had "it".     Its not that new anymore. My Endocrinologist was already using these numbers 4 years ago. I had probably one of the best Endo.'s in my area so I've been in good hands.
